jimin felt his heart beat faster at the sound of jeongguk's voice.
"jimin-ssi, we're going to practice the choreography for no more dream since it's been a while."
he frowned.
"but jeongguk-ah," he whined, "i don't like kicking the members backs."
jeongguk smiled at him and took his hand.
"don't worry, jimin-ssi! i'll be right there with you, everything will be fine."
with jeongguk holding his hand and looking at him like that, jimin knew that everything would be more than fine, it would be perfect.
"don't hesitate, don't hesitate, wassup!" namjoon rapped, flashing jimin a supportive smile before turning around to fall into place between taehyung and hoseok. said boy was bouncing on the balls of his feet nervously. the rest of practice had gone well so far, and he didn't want to be the one to mess them up.
with a deep breath, he allowed jeongguk to wrap his arm around his waist as he lifted him up to perform no more dream's signature kick. jimin tried not to press down too hard against his friends's backs. he wrapped an arm around jeongguk's neck for extra support.
as soon as his foot left yoongi's back, jeongguk's hand managed to end up underneath his legs so he was carrying the older. bridal style.
the music stopped and the others just stared at them, amused expressions on their faces.
"ah, jeongguk-ah, carrying jiminie like you're newlyweds, eh?"
taehyung wiggled his eyebrows at the maknae before whipping out his phone and snapping a picture.
"hyung, what was that for?" jeongguk whined.
"chinsun will want to see this. you know how much she wants you two together."
"give me your phone!"
"you'll need to come get it!"
jeongguk grumbled under his breath but made no move to put jimin down, pulling him closer and holding him tighter.
"g-guk-ah?" jimin squeaked. he chuckled and leaned down so his mouth was directly next to jimin's ear.
"i can't help it, princess. you're so cute, i just want to hold you and never let you go. but i will if you want me to."
cheeks bright red, jimin shook his head and buried his face in jeongguk's chest.
"that's what i thought."
