A Night to Remember

London 2019, 21:35, The O2 Arena

The Crowd was wild; cheering, jumping, screaming and singing along. The girl beside you was crying uncontrollably for the sixth time and the rest were pushing you forwards against the fence. You had queued for hours to get in first and get at the absolute front, but it was nothing you regretted. After all, you had good company and things to keep you entertained waiting. Now you could practically be on the scene considering how close you were. Having learned to sing along to the entire song, you eagerly sang to the Shoot out song as it came on, nailing each part. As the tones faded out it seemed to be an intermission where the members sang 'Myself', without any choreography. Instead, they walked around calmly on the scene, waving at fans who hurdled as close as possible to catch their attention by stretching out their hands and screaming their names. Perhaps you were too shy, or just amazed by their stage presence, but you didn't reach out or screamed, rather stood still being so emotionally upset you didn't know what to do with yourself. 

Suddenly a bouncy Minhyuk made it across the scene with the widest of smiles. He really enjoyed being on the scene, full of energy. The girls around you moved closer, screaming his name, and he waved back, kneeling down to come closer. You were so close, and suddenly the thought struck you, "How could someone so beautiful even exist?". It was crazy. Taking breath you broke out of your perplexion and shouted his name, waving. As if your shout had pushed all of the other screams aside, his attention suddenly snapped right to you. Your knees grew weak, as he was staring directly at you. The wide smile suddenly switched out to a surprised expression, as if he was shocked. The shyness crept up on you again, but you made a tiny wave and he was just about to lift his hand to wave back before Shownu gave him a gentle push. It was his time to sing, and he had almost missed it completely. The smile came back to Minhyuk's expression as he got up and back to the middle of the scene. Shownu arched an eyebrow as he looked out over the girls and in your vicinity, but didn't seem to find what he was looking for and returned to the concert.
