Inside My Mind

"Yah! It worked!" Someone shouted in the distance happily, the voice echoing across the verdant forest. Rubbing your eyes you looked around, trying to figure out what was going on, yet your mind wasn't in control of this scenario. You couldn't remember when you had felt so awake in a dream before, but still, it wasn't real. Beautiful flowers gathered around your feet and birds flew across the sky. 

"Are you here?!" You heard shouting again. Why did they have to be so loud? 

"Hello?!" You managed to stutter forwards, but as usual in dreams, you weren't sure if you had actually said it or not. 

"No.. No.. No I am losing you!" The voice gasped, "Come back!" 

The verdant forest twisted and turned, shedding it's leaves and losing its colours. It was scary as it all decayed and you began running for your life, afraid the rot would take you with it. Head first, you slammed into something... Or someone. Looking up, you began feeling dizzy and once more your sight blurry, you blinked a couple of times to see who it was...

... Minhyuk?

You snapped awake from the dream and looked at the clock on your nightstand. It was closing in on three in the morning, but no way near the time you had put your alarm at. What was that dream? It didn't feel like a normal dream where everything was unexplainable and fuzzy, no, you recalled it as clear as day... Even sounds and emotions. You took a deep breath and shook your head, it was a wonderful dream but that was it. Not thinking more about it, you laid down again.
