Red, Violet, Gold

Sitting next to the girl with the piercing blue eyes

on the old convertible, rusting in peace

watching the moonlight catch in her brisant blonde hair

like a fresh breath of air bursting into scenes--

our hands could be together, our matching red lips

your heartbeat tells me that you feel the same,

and I'm not worried since I could give you what you need

tonight can match the same for the rest of this summer

same blazing sunsets, same dancing that feels new

in a moment everything could escape you, don't I make sense

Would you want this spark to slip away into the air?

I want to be the part of you that you don't want to lose

and your heartbeat tells me that you feel the same

whenever I'm alone you will want to say your thoughts are me

in a moment suspended in time, I could be lost forever in the crowds
