Shit

I stared at Sebastian up and down, from his horns to his leather boots. "Oh, I knew you were following me." He smirked as he pulled me up from behind the car.

He pulled me by my shirt collar, not irate. I gulped as we got closer and closer to the doors. Damn, he's strong, I thought. How come I've never noticed this guy?  I couldn't help but keep staring at his red horns.

Sebastian led me inside the giant mansion as I was greeted by a black Pomeranian sprinting towards me. It leaped into my arms and started licking my face. "Oh my god, you're so cute!" I squealed, petting the fluffy dog. Sebastian cleared his throat. I turned around and put the dog down. "Sorry."

"Whatever. Why did you even follow me?" He asked, and I shrugged. I knew I had the right answer, but he seemed so aggravated that I didn't want to irritate him more.  Didn't he just say he wasn't mad? He's a millionaire, maybe even a billionaire, though, so, should I really mess with him? Probably not

The woman I saw earlier ran out of the kitchen, holding a phone. "Your father's calling." She rushed and handed Sebastian the phone and scurried back into the kitchen. He held the phone up to his ear and walked upstairs. I ran behind him up the grand staircase. He opened a giant door and led me inside the room. I sat on his large canopy bed while he was conversing with his father.

"What? No, I'm not going." Sebastian slammed the phone down after hanging up. He pressed his temples, horns almost glinting from the sunlight shining in from the tiny window.

"What's up?" I asked, and I decided to not regret it. I've always been a curious type. Sebastian muttered something about a 'mundane lifestyle'.

I nodded, actually listening to his life story. Lucifer? Devil? What is up with this boy's life? He finally finished talking about his life."That's exciting..." I said.

"I know right, best life ever." He chuckled and sat down next to me.

"Anyways, why the hell did you prank me, Sebastian? I don't even know you." I frowned, looking down at my feet that were slowly kicking back and forth.

"It's something I do. For fun. A hobby, you might say." He stared at the wall. "It usually doesn't end like this." Usually? Has this happened before? I decided not to push Sebastian and, instead, keep staring at my feet. I suddenly felt a slight bit of discomfort around him.

Sebastian turned to me. "What about you?" He asked, and I was surprised by the question. "What's your story?"

I sighed and said, "Not a great one, it's not as interesting and exciting as yours." I began telling Sebastian about my life and why I was at Starbucks. First, I told him my name, Arilyn Adams. After that, things got harder. It started with hobbies, where my friends were, simple stuff. Then it got to my dismissive parents and my boyfriend dumping me. He listened and understood what I have been through.

"You know what, my mother and I have enough room here. Why don't you live with us?"

I shook my head, sticking to my senses. "No, no no, I will not do that. It's a kind offer, it really is, but I can't live in this giant mansion and be pampered like a princess!" I blurted out.

Sebastion grimaced then looked away. A few moments past until he turned and stared at me.

"Why?" He asked simply. The question was simple, and, maybe, so was the answer.

"It's not fair to you," I murmured. I couldn't believe I was saying this to the boy who literally pranked me and destroyed my chance of actually having a job at Starbucks. He squinted and then smirked.

"That, Arilyn, will be easily fixed." I was confused. "Let's make a deal." I opened my mouth to oppose, but I closed it. I'd let him say it. "You make me the stories you say you like to do, and I'll let you stay. You'll be tolerable of anything I command you to do, within reason. Actually, screw that. You'll obey me." I raised an eyebrow. Now it seemed even harsher.

Will I accept?

I sighed, looking down at my phone which read 5:15 pm. "I really do need a place to sleep tonight. And, I don't have a house nor a job. So..." I trailed off. "I guess I'll stay here." I looked up at him and smiled. He beamed back and held out his hand for me to shake. Before shaking it, I had one final thought.

"What happens if I don't obey you?" Sebastian's smile faltered. He looked away.

"Isn't it simple, Arilyn? You get punished," He replied, turning to face me again after a few moments. I can't say I was surprised. It was simple. The part that wasn't simple was what the punishment was. Still confused about everything that had happened in the last hour, I didn't push on. I just nodded, shook his hand, and then stared out the small window behind Sebastian.

"Alright, let me show you to your new room." Sebastian held out his hand again, which I held onto and followed him. I still couldn't stop thinking about the punishment. Was he going to hurt me? Even worse, kill me? I shook my head and closed my eyes. There's no way he would do that to me. I opened my eyes a few moments later and was faced in front of a birch door. He opened the door slowly and I walked into a comfy bedroom, not as big as Sebastian's which was great.

Oh, great, I thought, Author mode is here

The bedroom's walls were adorned with different paintings and pictures of mostly nature. A drawer sat in the corner, painted wood weaving into a basket-like dresser. A mirror of the same portrayal grandly perched on the dresser. It looked freshly cleaned, along with everything else in the room. The full-sized, flower patterned bed was surrounded by two end tables and bookshelves. One should notice how many books there were. It felt as though the books were the most prominent part of the bedroom. A window seat rested in the back (or front, depending on one's point of view) with the same patterned pillows as the bed in it. A seemingly unnecessary closet was hidden behind two bookshelves.

I laid down on the fluffed pillows as Sebastian walked out of the room. "Wait! I need clothes!" I called. He turned his hand only and did a special gesture at the wardrobe. Clothes that came out of thin air flew into the drawers, shutting the door behind him as he walked out of the room. I checked their size and they were a perfect fit. I sighed, falling back onto the bed, and pulled my phone out of my pocket, checking all of my unread notifications.

"This is gonna be tough."
