Everyone, meet Nightlight. In the book series, Nightlight is a boy that never ages and made of pure light. He was also a protector to the Man in the Moon when he was only just a small lunar baby. In my story version, Nightlight is a wooden toy that belongs to Lea. He was a handmade gift by her deceased grandparents and is Lea's childhood friend. I have my reasons on why I made Nightlight as a toy. Let's just say that he and another character are one of the same person in the book series. That, and since the movie version gave this character a different background, I thought of doing the same. Anyway, whenever Lea feels scared or frustrated, she counts on Nightlight to help give her courage and inspiration. He'll make an important role in the story, too. One that ties to Lea and the Guardians. ;)
