So hard to turn you away
when really, we want you to stay
time has changed we've grown apart
nothing right now can fix my heart.
Sometimes, times need to move on
wanted you back, but now I'm gone
Conflicting feelings and so sore
tears leak from the cuts I bore
I could not be your savior
I wished so hard, you'd stay here
I let you go against my will
now, I just hope my scar will heal
One day the river that ran dry
will flow again to show me the sky
for now I hide inside my cave
and cast away the light I crave
I hold my knees to my chest
I wish you love and all the best
hold her tight don't let her go
let her embrace help you grow
I will come out someday soon
The seeds are planted, they will bloom
Let me go and I will too.
