"You still okay?" Zayn asked Niall, stepping to the shorter boy's side. Niall lifted his head, his blue eyes meeting Zayn's brown, a smile spreading across his face. He nodded, his hand reaching up to touch the imprints where Ed's fingers had been. They stung slightly, but it wasn't something he couldn't handle.

"I'm fine. Thanks for helping me back there, Za. Really, I could have died," Niall commented, digging his hands into the pockets of his jeans. Zayn readjusted his bag, unable to help a smile from making itself known on his face.

"You're welcome. We're all confused here and if we kill each other, we won't get anywhere, will we?" Zayn grinned, his eyes never leaving Niall. Niall shook his head, looking forward to see if the walls ever ended. They had only been walking for an hour or so-it was hard to tell time in this place-but to all the boys, it felt like hours.

The two boys fell into a comfortable silence as they walked side by side, occasionally bumping arms, and not always on accident.

"So who do you think the Demon is?" Ashton asked Luke as he quickened his pace to keep up with the blue eyed boy. Luke turned, a little startled by the sudden approach, his eyes meeting Ashton's lively ones.

Clearing his throat, Luke just kind of shrugged, his cheeks tinted pink. "I don't really know. Anyone could be the Demon. I guess that even could be the Demon. But I mean, I kind of still think it's E. He only has one letter while the rest of us have two. Don't you think he kind of sticks out like a sore thumb as well? He's the only red head. And did you see the way he lashed out at Ni? He'd be able to be the Demon no problem. I think he is a huge possibility, but what do I know?"

Ashton just nodded, processing this new opinion. "I guess you're right. Looks like E has this target on his back," he chuckled, scuffing his feet along the floor. "I'm just kind of worried, you know? Like, I could be the Demon. But wouldn't the Demon know they're it? That's what confuses me. I guess, though, if the Demon knew they were the killer, they wouldn't say anything becuase then we would kill him so he wouldn't kill us. And speaking of killing, I'm really afraid that if I'm not the Demon, I'm going to be killed."

"I totally understand that. I'm afraid as well. I mean, right now I could be having a conversation with a killer and not even know until later on. Unless I'm dead," Luke spoke, his voice quieting at the end. Luke cleared his throat again, scratching at his blonde hair. "So, uh, how many siblings do you hope you have?"

"I hope I have two," Ashton smiled smally. "And I hope they're both younger. So I can protect them. I don't know why, but I like protecting people." Luke nodded his head, looking up at the sky. "What about you?"

"I want to be the youngest. I like it when I know I am not the first to go through things," Luke answered, his eyes meeting Ashton's. The curly haired boy smiled at him, showing his teeth. It was then that Luke realized that Ashton wasn't bad looking. Wasn't bad looking at all.

"You're Ha, right?" Louis asked as he found Harry beside him. The taller boy nodded, his curls bouncing. Louis found himself wishing he could run his hands through them, see if they'd curl around his fingers. He blushed as he thought this, his eyes still on Harry. "That's cool. I'm Lo."

"I know," Harry smiled cheekily. Louis just huffed and moved his bag on his other shoulder. Above them, the sky was a beautiful blue, just a few clouds in the sky. All of the boys were thankful that the sun wasn't beating down directly on them, or they'd all be in misery. "So why do you think we all have the color we have?"
