We planned on going to a party in Hollywood Hills because they were all invited. Clinton ended up getting a call from their manager about an even bigger party. He ran over to us with the most excitement.
"Yo, our manager just called and said to go to a different party." He exclaimed.
"Why?" Mitchel asked.
"Because, it's in Hidden Hills." He said back.
The boys gasped at what Clinton had said.
"Where is that?" I questioned.
"It's in Beverly Hills!" Christian shouted.
"Holy shit! Beverly Hills?" I shouted back.
"Yah! He sent over a car to come pick us up! It should be here any minute!" Clinton protested.
About five minutes later, a Benz truck pulled into my driveway. It was the car their manager sent for us. We walked outside and all got into the car. It was a long drive actually and we had to pass through 2 security gates before we finally got to the house. The car pulled up the driveway a bit and parked. We hopped out of it and you could already hear the music blaring and people screaming.I got really intimidated and I guess I put off that vibe well because Mitchel wrapped his hand around my waist and Christian patted me on the back.
"This is fame kid." Christian chuckled.
Right as we walked in, people started cheering for the boys. I felt a little awkward but dropped it as soon as their manager came to greet us. He talked with us for a bit then shot off somewhere else to talk about Chase Atlantic and make produser moves.
We were there for about an hour and I was so close to being wasted it was funny. I felt bad because Mitchel had to parent me the whole time but he said he didn't mind it. I pulled him over to the dance floor and we were dancing up on eachother. I kept bumping into people but he kept me in balance. After dancing for maybe half an hour, I got tired so he pulled me over to the side. We danced a bit until I bumped and turned around to a sight I haven't seen in a long time.
"Hey, Mitty." The flirty voice said.
"Oh hey. Haven't seen you in a while." Mitchel said annoyed.
I was shocked as to who was standing in front of me.
"Yah, thanks for making that song about me. I guess that proves that you do still love me, huh?" She said seductively.
"No, I have a girlfriend. And it's not you." Mitchel kind of growled.
"And who is it?" She said, not even taking an eye off of him.
He pointed at me and the look on her face made me shiver. She had fire burning behind her eyes and rage radiating off her skin. She knew exactly who I saw and she knew I could have never forgotten her.
"Hey, Hazel." Her voice filled with disgust.
"Hi, Cassie." I said hesitantly.
"So, you're with her now? Surprising." Cassie scoffed.
"Yep, and she's great." Mitchel bit back.
"That's what her ex said before he cheated on her with me." She snapped.
I choked up and shed a tear but whipped it away quickly. I sucked it up and stood there watching her try to break me down. Mitchel noticed me getting tense and pulled me closer to him.
"You'll come back soon enough. She knows it too." She sassed before whipping him with her hair and strutting off.
"I wanna go home." I looked down.
"Just stay a little longer." Mitchel grabbed my hand.
"I want to go home!" I stated.
"A little longer, please? You'll have fun, don't worry about her." He begged.
I turned around and saw Christian. I ran over to him and asked him to take me home. He nodded his head and walked with me to the door. I looked back at Mitchel but he didn't even budge from the spot he was standing in. There was no point in staying if he wasn't gonna chase after me. I shed one more tear and walked out the door; not looking back.
Christian texted an Uber prior so we waited for a minute before he got up here. I plugged in my address and the driver took us home, fast.
I payed him and shut his door. I was still wobbly so Christian grabbed me and helped me walk up the driveway. We got in my house and I ran upstairs, not even waiting for Christian. Once I got in my room, I broke down. I just started crying. I got up and grabbed a makeup wipe, taking all the purple off my face to reveal the red I had turned. Christian came flying in and forced me into an embrace. I melted into his shoulder and he sat us on my bed.
"Why wouldn't he take care of me? Why didn't he come after me?" I kept asking.
"I don't know, love. I think he was just overwhelmed and shocked as to what happened." he reassured me.
"Than why didn't he give a shit and stay with me when he knew I wasn't okay?" I breathed.
"I don't know his problem because I'd never leave you in a situation like that." He stared at me.
"I just. Cassie? Really?" I cried.
"What's wrong with Cassie?" He asked.
"My ex boyfriend cheated on me with her and she proceeded to steal him from me and ruin my life." I cried, again.
"Oh. I knew she was bad news but, I didn't know she was that bad." He sympathizes.
He stayed a little longer until I calmed down. I was getting tired so I changed and lied down in my bed. He was just about to leave until I stopped him.
"Can you stay with me tonight?" I asked.
"Sure. Anything for you, darling." He set his things down and lied in bed with me.
I turned over and cuddled against him because I felt safe with him in this moment. I didn't want to go anywhere else but with Christian because he protected me. He made me feel sheltered.
