A couple days went by and I told my dad the situation. He was irritated but calmed down at the fact that Mitchel owned up to his wrong. I spent the past three days only with Mitchel so we could build our bond back.

I wake up sunday morning to a beautiful display of flowers on my desk. I instantly smile and hop out of bed. I sniffed the flowers and walked out my room. Getting down stairs, I'm greeted by my dad in a big hug. I smile even bigger than before and let go to go into the kitchen. I hop on the counter and look at him.

"He's a keeper." My dad smiled.

"Thanks. I think so too." I looked down with the same smile on and my face turning red.

"He hurts you one more time, he's gone." He growled, jokingly.

"Yah, yah, I know dad." I laughed.

"We should do something today. Just you and I though because I've been off with them for the past couple of weeks and miss you." I said.

"What are you thinking we should do, hun?" He asked.

"Ooo. We should go to the pier!" I exclaimed.

"That's a long drive, though." He said.

"It's only half an hour but if you think so than, road trip!" I exclaimed.

"Fine. But we're leaving at 11 because it's 10:23 and I wanna get there at a good time." He said, walking up to his room.

"Yay! Cool! I'll be ready!" I ran up to my room, already having an outfit planned.

I picked out light washed high waisted shorts, a thick black belt, white cropped tank top, yellow button down shirt to go over top (unbuttoned), and yellow high socks with my black high top Converses. A very basic outfit but it was comfy and if we were going on rides, I don't wanna be uncomfortable.

I ran downstairs, locking the front door behind me as I ran to the car. My dad has a Jeep so we decided to take that to be "Cool", my dad said. Both him and I were big Blink-182 fans and Arctic Monkeys fans so we put them on for the whole car ride. Right as we pulled out of the driveway I got a text.

Mitchel ~ Where are you guys going?

Me ~ Oh, I wanted a day with my dad so we're gonna drive down to the pier and hang out.

Mitchel ~ So sweet

Me ~ haha

I figured he saw from out of his window so I never questioned it. I would invite them but I haven't really had much fun with my dad since we got here. It was mostly unpacking and signing up for school and work. I wanted some quality time with him before running off with my new boyfriend.

The whole drive there, we were blasting music and singing along to the songs that came up. "Why'd you only call me when you're high?" is our favorite song by Arctic Monkeys so when it came up, we blasted it and sang along the whole time. We decided to just go to McDonalds for breakfast so we could waist more time at the pier. We got there and parked. I was doing research on the pier the whole car ride. It's free admission but the rides cost money, but they were cheap though so my dad had no problem.

We walked over to the rides and started to get a little tired. We decided that the ferris wheel was going to be the last ride we go on, then we'll leave. The wheel went all the way around at it was the most beautiful sight ever. Seeing the ocean and everyone below was gorgeous. I took so many pictures and posted them to my story. Unfortunately but finally, it was over. We stepped off of the booth and out of the gate. We started walking towards the car until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and stopped in my tracks. All the color from my face, flushed out. I gasped as my eyes welled up.

"Hey." He said.

Hi loves!

So, I'm gonna post a lot in the next 2 or so days because I'm going on a trip from Friday to Monday so, I'll be inactive those days. I have a lot of already written chapters so I'm just gonna post those over this tiny time span.
