after the incident yesterday, the war continued.

they waited for each other to trip, well, by sticking their foot out at every moment they get the chance to.

that is until, fate brings them itself.

• kang seo yeon.

"alright class! we'll be having a play during the 20th year anniversary talent competition of oksang high, though, for this anniversary, year 3 class 1, will be collaborating with us." the teacher declared, as our classmates immediately mentioned the name of 'bts'.

"as expected, the members of bts were chosen to be the male leads of our the four dramas picked, all we need now is the female leads." before the teacher could even ask for any volunteers, the girl students rose up from their seats and shouted their lungs out to get the
teacher's attention.

the teacher cleverly found a girl who was only raising her hand rather than screaming like no tomorrow and let her speak, "yes, ms. bae?"

the girl stood up, "how about using the spheres as our representatives m'am?"

the whole class turned their attention to us, some of the girls disagreeing at the idea while the boys totally agreed.

"that is a very great idea, ms. bae, it that alright, girls?"

chaeyeon gazed back at me and yoon hee as we were sitting behind her, nodding our head as we didn't want to miss the opportunity,

"yes, m'am." chaeyeon answered.

"that's great, although, you're only three people, we need another representative."
the teacher stated once again.

before any bickering could erupt, i stood from my seat and suggested, "she can join us." i nudged my head over to the girl who suggested us, we looked at her for permission as she just agreed.

"hmm, very well, the play will be in three weeks, you may therefore discuss the plans, the four dramas will be sent via email, class dismissed." teacher shut her bag as she trudged towards the door, leaving the class as all sort of noises started to arise.

the girl walked towards us as we stood up along, gathering our stuff as she lended her hand out towards me, "thanks you for suggesting me."

"you're welcome, i'm kang seo yeon, you are....,?"

"i'm bae joohyun."

arriving at our usual hang out spot at the corner of the rooftop during after school,  we brought joohyun as we surprisingly encountered bts just beside our spot.

"knew you girls would be here, who's the new girl?" jungkook asked, glancing at joohyun who was standing behind yoon hee.

i encouraged her to step out, giving her an assuring nod as she slowly step in, "bae joohyun, nice to meet you."

the boys nodded, looking over at me, "why is she here though?"

"she's a new member of spheres." i spoke as bts, even joohyun herself, gazed at me with a surprised face.

yoon hee and chaeyeon blinked blankly, as if they saw it coming.

"I-I am?" joohyun question as i answered with a firm nod.

"mhm, and since you're the fourth lead for our drama." she bobbed her head in acknowledgement, as the bts members slowly processed the information.

"so, let's start the discussion, then?"

"actually, we sadly dont have much time right now, so we'd have to delay the chit chat for later." rap monster cut in.

"but it's friday..," chaeyeon dragged in.

"exactly, we'll be meeting at my house by then, 7 am in the morning, i'll text you the address." jimin stated.

"wait bu-"

"no time for buts, missy, we've got an errand to run." taehyung eventually cut yoon hee in before she coulf even speak properly, "adios!"

they bid before sprinting off to the stairs, leaving us with questioned looks, though chaeyeon remained weirdly calm, as if knew why.

wait..

i squinted my eyes towards chaeyeon's calm figure,

'bae joohyun from year 2 class 1, a new member of spheres!'

the headline stated.

this article had been a crazy news throughout the five hours after school, the students bewildered with the shocking information.

the girls had read about this, though they did not care a single bit.

in fact, they were pretty cool about it, except for the mervous bunny herself.

they were located inside coffee bay, chilling with each of their chosen coffee while nibbling on a tray of cookies

"so, technically, joohyun unnie will be a part of this bet too, right?" yoon hee spoke amidst the silence.

seo yeon's sipping stopped abruptly, making her almost choke though she had managed not to, "oh, i forgot about that, so.. yes..,?"

"don't worry, i can handle it." joohyum declared proudly.

"you can? have you heard the details?" chaeyeon questioned.

"we're classmates so i was obviously there that day, so yes i heard every drop of detail." joohyun assured.

"oh well, we'll trust you with that then." seo yeon nodded at joohyun, who returned the same gesture.

silence erupted though it wasnt near anything awkward, they enjoyed this moment of silence, the noises from the street soothing their hearts like warm milk.

one was uneasy though.

seo yeon reminisced the scene from yesterday, the sudden fasten of heart beats catching her off guard as she stared into space, poking the straw to her creamy latte.

'by the way, just call me yoongi.' the boy flashed a light grin as it made my heart jump even faster.

seo yeon shook her head, taking the thoughts out of her head as she groaned, yoon hee noticing it already,  "hey, you okay?"

seo yeon snapped her head towards yoon hee's direction, shooting a nod as she simply smiled, "of course, i'm fine."

the smile created a pit of suspicion towards yoon hee, though she decided to shrug the though off as she completely consumed her double dutch frappucino.

if tomorrow would disastrous, they better prep their selves up before one drops down the trap.
