Chapter 2

Laurens' POV

    Alexander is sleeping. I should really wake him up but he looks so cute.. 

I mentally slap myself. jeez. this guy's got me down deep. These are the moments where I hate being gay. I tend to go after guys who are out of my league. and uh, guys who aren't gay. I glance as alexander, you know what, from now on i'm calling him Alex. Ok. I glance at Alex and smile. I put my hand on his cheek and smack it softly. "hey, heyyyy. alex. wake upp." his eyes flutter open. he groans "whaAaAtT??" i giggle  "you comin?" He blinks a few times before burying his face in him pillow but raises his head again no more that 5 seconds later "gimme a minute" i smile and walk out the room cheerfully. pulling out my phone, i send a message to out group chat.

TurtleBoi: Hey hey heeyyyy!

LABAGUETTE: bonsoir mon ami! Are you coming?

TurtleBoi: Of course! :) I invited a friend! It that ok?

LABAGUETTE: Oui! when are you coming? 

TurtleBoi: M'just waiting on Alex, Give us a minute or two :]

HORSEFUCKER: "US"? ]:) 

TurtleBoi: He's my roommate, lay off!

TurtleBoi added Alexander Hamilton

TurtleBoi changed Alexander's nickname to TomCat

TomCat: what?

TurtleBoi: :)

LABAGUETTE: hi!!

TomCat: uh, hi. i'm on my way out @TurtleBoi

I look up, seeing alex exit the room. smiling up at him, i get up. "ready?" alex shruggs before walk towards the door, signaling me to follow. i giggle. 

Since the cafe wasn't so far, we decided to walk. "Your friends sure are.. interesting" He says, reading our old conversations from the group chat. I stick out my tongue "yep!" he glances at me, looking back at his phone quickly. is he.. blushing?  I giggle silently "here we are!" I say as we reach the cafe. 

we walk in, seeing only a few people there, this cafe wasn't so popular. "ami! over here!" i see lafayette in the corner with hercules "hi laf!" i wave, alex waves after me. we walk towards them.

3rd person POV

Alex and john sit down at the table "so you're john's roommate?" herc asks. alex nods "yep." laurens smiles "Be nice to him mon ami, he's had a rough time in high school, pauvre chose..." alex nods "je vais prendre soin de lui" Lafayette gasps "you speak french?!" Herc snickers "nice" john tilts his head as alex smiles at him.  "umm yeah ok" john says awkwardly. "aaanyway, alex, did you know these two are dating?" john asks, smiling at alex. "ooohhhh really?" alex looks at them, noticing they were holding hands. but at the same time he sees subtle fear in laf's eyes, the same in herc's "that's great!" he smiles, supportively. the fear in their eyes left and they sighed in relief. "you guys ok?" john asks "mon ami, warn us next time before you tell a stranger about 'us' d'accord?"  laf says softly "we never know how people react to this. What if he was homophobic?" John glances at Alex, who was blushing. "oh come on I'm not THAT shallow" he scratches the back of his head. Why is he blushing? He thought as he gazed at Alex unknowingly while he was talking with laf and herc. This was the reason he was getting bullied for the whole of his high school years. Being gay isn't acceptable in most people's eyes. But.. I can't help myself. When I see a cute guy, I see a cute guy. There's nothing I can do to change the way I feel. That's the way it's always been. John looks up, noticing Alex look at him "yo, you ok?" John looks away "yeah I'm.. Fine. Just tired I guess.." laf looks at him with worry "mon ami, you can go home if you want. Alex would you like to accompany him?" He says turning his attention to Alex "i dunno.. I'd like to stay and chat for a while longer but.." he glances over at laurens, he looks back. A light blush dusts upon his cheeks. "ok, I'll go." Alex says, sighing. He stands up, after John. "stay safe you guys" herc calls after them. "will do!" John calls back.

"so.." Alex speaks up after a few minutes "why were you staring at me back there?" John gulps. He noticed???? "oh, sorry. I was zoning out. I didn't really... Notice." he looks down "hey.. Are you really ok? You look bothered by something.. Was it something I said?" alex replies "no no! Not at all.. I guess I'm just.. A bit insecure.." John says avoiding eye contact. "about what?" Alex raises an eye brow. John looks up from the ground and smiles "it's nothing for you to worry about! I'll be fine! I really am just tired..!" he says before entering the building.
