Never Again

JC saved Chris

Ten minutes later JC pulled into Joey's driveway and when he saw Chris, JC jumped out of his car, grabbed Chris then sped off to the hospital then ten minutes later he was at the hospital and Chris was rushed into the operating room, while JC was showed to a private room then the doctor shut the door behind him and left JC alone. A few minutes later JC felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up and saw Lance. JC stood up and gave Lance a hug and cried on his shoulder.

Lance: What happened?

JC: I don't know but he looked really bad, blood was coming from everywhere.

Lance: Oh my god I'm so sorry, I know you guys were very close.

JC: I don't want to lose Chris, I love him Lance I really do.

Lance: I'm sure you won't lose him JC.

Two hours later a doctor came out to talk to them, he sat them down and told them that Chris was in real bad shape but he was going to pull through but not without serious injuries and JC asked what kind of injuries and that's when the doctor took JC's hand, then told them that he would never be the same person again. JC looked at the doctor with tears in his eyes then the doctor told them that he would probably be a little boy for the rest of his life because he was badly beaten in his head, then the doctor showed them to Chris's room. The doctor left and shut the door behind him so JC and Lance sat down next to the bed. JC took Chris's hand and kissed it.

JC: Chris come back to me.

JC kissed Chris's hand and a few minutes later Chris woke up and started crying.

Chris: I'm sorry I ate his food, I was hungry, Never Again.

JC stood up and kissed Chris on the lips then pulled away and smiled at him, Chris went to kiss JC again but when he moved he cried out in pain so JC bent down and kissed Chris again and Chris tried to stop JC from pulling away but failed.

JC: Baby no, calm down.

Chris whispered with his horse voice.

Chris: I need you Josh, I'm scared.

JC: You are way too weak right now for us to play.  I promise I'm not going anywhere.

Chris started crying again so JC kissed Chris again, then pulled away and smiled at him, then JC got up and walked back to his chair next to the bed.  JC kissed Chris then sat back down and turned on the tv and found cartoons.  A few minutes later Chris started laughing. Lance and JC noticed that Chris had fallen asleep so they got up and walked over to the table then sat down and started talking about how different Chris's life would be.

JC: I love him but I don't know if I can do this on my own Lance.

Lance: You won't have to JC.

JC: What are you talking about?

Lance: Johnny knows what Joey did and said we are all welcome to stay in the house as long as we want.

JC: What are you talking about?

Lance: I called Johnny before I got here and talked to him about Chris and he was sure that it was bad being that Joey was involved.

JC: Joey won't be staying there will he?

Lance shook his head no to reassure JC that Joey would not be living with them then they talked about Chris.  A few minutes later a doctor came in the room to take Chris's vitals and they were glad the numbers are normal then she left the room and shut the door behind her, Lance chuckled.

JC: What?

Lance: Did you see the look on her face when you kissed Chris?

JC: No
