Takehiko's POV
The cold water was seeping through my shoes and I felt tiny pebbles poke my feet as I jumped into the freezing river.
"I don't understand why you would trust someone like her." I muttered, the fish were extremely stealthy today.
"Everybody deserves a second chance, you out of all people should believe that." Masashi nearly caught a fish but it slipped away from his hand.
"Yume nearly spilled her secret to some strange blond boy."
"What was so strange?"
"Nothing, just the giant heap of bowls next to him, he has a huge appetite." we both laughed and continued hunting
"Anyway, was that the reason for Yume's pissy mood yesterday when you two came back?" I nodded at him
"Yume deserved it, imagine somebody finds out about her being Jiraiya's murderer!"
"Keep your voice down!"
"Sorry, it's just that I want to take care of my friend." I smiled
"I know you do."
We smiled and successfully caught five fish by the end of the day. I chuckled in exhaustion.
Amaya was already back with the same amount of fish, she helped us cook the rest of the food with Yume. (The chemistry between the girls was like vinegar and soda... not so good)
"I wish Yuichi were here, he would have caught us a bunch of fish." Masashi groaned
"You all move too much, speak too loud and are too slow to catch fish."
"Shut it, murderer!" Yume yelled at Amaya
"It's not as if all of you are any better."
"He pretty much is like that, thanks for giving an example, Amaya and Yume."
I laughed and high-fived with Masashi. "By the way, how is Katsuro?" Amaya was petting her tiger with a soft smile
"Well, he keeps walking more and more, he seems healed."
"That's nice to hear."
After we all finished eating, Yume and I decided to wash the dishes and Masashi started out the plan we had discussed on our way back from the fishing.
Amaya's POV
"Act more girly?" I bit my lip
"Yes and more friendly, you just are too sarcastic and straight-forward sometimes. At the same time you must act as if you have a secret." I stared at him blankly
"Why do you know how a girl should behave better than I do?"
He sighed in defeat and sat down "We will colour your hair and-"
"I can change my appearance myself, thank you."
"OK, repeat that sentence in a lady-like manner now." Masashi said
