The constant drizzle outside caused rain to slowly drip down the window pane in my room, the only entertainment I had was watching the droplets fall and connect to each other, making bets with myself over which one would move first out of a select few. I had woken up alone, causing any hopes I had and trying to solve the situation to extinguish almost immediately. I had woken up several times throughout the night, each time Weylyns strong arms held me as I tossed and turned before I woke at five, alone and didn't manage to get a wink of sleep since. It was currently nearing ten and I still had not been disturbed by anyone.

I sighed, pushing myself up from the window seat I had curled up on, clutching the duvet over my shoulders like a cape as I made my way over to the door. On the way, I passed my vanity mirror, causing a deep sigh to sound from my lips. I looked, in better words, a mess.

I had dark bags under my eyes causing me to look like a panda, with mud and dirt all over my face and hands and I'm pretty sure I even had a few twigs caught in my hair. Changing my direction, I turned to the other door, walking into my ensuit instead.

I dropped the duvet halfway through the doorway, causing it to not be able to shut fully but couldn't find it in myself to care, I hadn't heard anyone moving around the pack house yet this morning, it was a Sunday so there was no training today, therefore the warriors were getting there well-earned rest.

Shedding out of my clothes, I turned on the shower, shivering slightly as I brushed my teeth while waiting for the water to heat. When I was finished, I jumped into the shower, relaxing as the warm jets of water instantly soothed my body. I began scrubbing with a flannel and a bonbon scented body wash while waiting for the shampoo and conditioner to work in my hair. I watched as the brown water slowly turned clear and pure once more, the bubbles from my hair soon disappearing down the drain.

Turning out the water I quickly climbed out, turning around to pick my towel from the rail when-

"OH MY GOD, MY EYES!"

I spun around, dropping my towel in my haste, to see Alisha stood at the bathroom door, wide-eyed like a startled dear as I desperately tried to cover my body while grabbing behind me for my towel which was on the floor, out of reach.

Suddenly, my bedroom door burst open again, revealing none other than my mate.

Mother have mercy.

"What's going on? are you okay? Pandia?!" His eyes darted around the room before finally landing on me, just as I managed to grab my towel. wrapping it around myself.

"GET OUT!" I screamed, pointing to the door, "please, I'll be down in a minute just- ugh,"

The two of them exchanged a glance before awkwardly shuffling out of my room, closing the door behind them.

I sighed deeply, sagging in relief before leaving into my room, walking to my dresser and pulling out the first thing I grabbed, a convenient outfit of sweats and joggers. Slipping them on, I threw my hair up into a messy bun before grabbing my slippers from the corner I had kicked them into a few days ago. The sound of my feet dragging down the hallways filled the air as I wondered down towards the stairs... I think.

It was only then, I realised I had no idea of where I was meant to be meeting the peeking toms, aka Alisha and Weylyn. Deciding just to wonder, I began heading down towards the kitchen where a delicious smell was beginning to waft up the staircase, rousing more wolves from their slumber in order to fill their stomach.

As I began walking down the first hallway on the first floor, I began hearing hushed whispers, causing me to stop walking as listen.

"There's something about her Alisha... I can sense it and I want to find out what. I hope she can trust me enough to tell me eventually." I heard Weylyn whisper to, Alisha

I smiled gently at the thought of him trusting me enough to tell him myself, instead of trying to force it out of me. I started walking again, turning the corner just in time to see Weylyn and Alisha hop off their stools and begin acting as if they were cooking.

idiots.

"Hey Alisha, Weylyn," I said, giving them a nod and a small smile, as I tried not to think of how much of me they had seen just a few minutes ago.

"Hey!" Alisha replied happily, while Weylyn just gave me a grim smile. Noticing the tense atmosphere, Alisha picked her plate up and quickly scurried out the room, calling a 'good luck' over her shoulder as she did so.

traitor

There was a tense silence for about ten seconds before Weylyn deeply exhaled, rubbing a hand down his face in frustration. "Okay, Pandia, I'm so sorry - I mean, I was just angry and I was shocked and I know that this isn't going to make you forgive me but I just want to explain-- if you'll let me."

I gave him a small smile, "Weylyn, you're already half forgiven, you came for me and that means a lot. You proved you care and I will try to never forget that."

He smiled a huge smile before taking a big step towards me and grabbing me by the waist, causing me to squeal in joy as he lifted me onto the counter before he pushed my legs apart, standing between them as he began peppering kisses along my neck and jaw.

I ran my fingers through his hair, tugging slightly and receiving a small growl from his in return, as he nipped lightly at my skin with his teeth.

"I want to introduce you to the pack," he said suddenly against my neck.

I froze. What? "What?" I voiced my thoughts.

"I want them to know who you are to me. so they won't make the same stupid mistakes I have so far. "

"Oh, er, okay"I stammered, realising there was little point in trying to fight it.

"Tomorrow morning at the pack meeting- I'll do it then" He decided, nodding to himself.

I began shuffling on the counter, managing to slide off as I made my way over to where there was a huge plate of cooked breakfast and began eating, not caring if it was meant for me or not. I was starving and it was mine now.

"Sure princess, help yourself" I herd Weylyn chuckle from behind me as he stepped quietly towards me. A few seconds later, my hair was scooped away from my face making me smile.

I momentarily paused eating when I felt his soft lips press against my neck in a gentle kiss.

"I'm trying Pandia, I really am" he whispered to himself, too low for any human to hear.

But I did.

Little things Pandia, little things.
