Trapped {ORGINAL} {UNFINISHED}

Chapter 2:- Nina

The minute something weird had started happening to some of the other kids in my class my teacher Mr Williams had run out of the classroom. The minute he left Valda -The class bully- Turned on me. Her newfound power allowed her to warp reality. She warped what I saw and to me, she became a giant trying to squish me. I let out a scream for the rest of my class laughed at me. Valda made it so I could hear every jeer she and her friends had ever said to me. My face started to feel wet and I knew I was crying. "STOP IT! GET OUT OF MY HEAD"

My tears turned to ice and snow, A voice whispered in my ear. "Valda has tortured you so many times, Isn't it time for a little payback? Think about how long she's been torturing you for! Let me control you just for a minute and I promise you'll get the payback you deserve"

The voice didn't make it sound optional and I aimed the sharpest of the icicles at Valda's giant. Except it wasn't me. The warp broke and I saw Valda lying on the floor, blood dripping from her forehead.

One of Valda's friends -Bridget- Let out a yelp and lifted Valda's head from the floor. "You... I think you killed her"

I stumbled back. Bridget's eyes were a shocking grey colour. "I-I-I didn't do it!"

I protested but Bridget started to walk slowly towards me. "You killed Valda"

Her voice was even toned daring me to say otherwise. "Now I will kill you!"

Bridget half lunged at me but before she could reach me a girl walked in. She had the wings of an Osprey. She saw Bridget lunging at me and she flapped her powerful wings. Bridget flew across the room and her body went limp as she hit the wall.

"Nina? NINA!"

The girl shook me and I saw her face become clearer. "Victoria?"

The name felt comforting, I had missed Vic and hadn't seen her in years. "Am-I hallucinating?" My voice sounded weak as the words fell from my mouth.

"No"

"Wheres Lupa?"

I could see the pain in Vic's eyes. And I looked down away from her face, To spot a ring that was on her finger. Three letters were engraved on the little silver ring. The same three letters on my ring. L-N-V, My eyes stung with tears. "You kept the ring"

I waited and hoped for the reply I had been dreaming out for year and years and then I heard it. "I would never take it off"

I hugged Vic so hard I swear I might have stopped her breathing. But I don't think she even cared.

We stayed like that until I heard Bridget waking. I let go of Vic to look at her face. "I haven't seen you since.."

My words were lost as three men dressed in full black entered the room. A net was thrown over Vic as she pushed me away just in time as the net Luded on top of her. She Screeched but didn't try to fight the net. The three men grabbed me and pulled me in the hallway. "Throw her into the closet, If she uses her freeze breath she'll only freeze herself in"

I was pushed into a closet that was so small. I felt if I stayed there too long I could get super cramped and sore. I sat thinking about what had happened. I had a feeling Valda wasn't dead but then I heard men outside the door of my cell-closet. "Nina Rose Quinn, You and the others of this school have been contaminated with virus 54, The cause of the virus is unknown. Do you know anything about this virus?"

I shuddered. My dad had been working with a group of people working in the lab on project V-54, I guessed that the had been trying to figure out the virus. "No"

My voice was as cold as ice. It sounded like a hard cold word the word no. "No?"

The man questioned. "Look the only thing I know is that my dad, Professor Quinn, Was working on project V-54, But I don't know if the two are connected."

I could hear the door unlock and the two men walked in. They wore black with small crests on their chests. Police. "Well then Nina, Thank you for telling us now you're allowed to leave the closet."

I narrowed my eyes "What's the catch?"

"Oh, You didn't know you and all of the students in this school are stuck here in the school until we figure out what this virus is."

I stood and walked out the closet. I passed the men and they grinned. "You're messed up!" I aimed my hand towards the water fountain and the water sprayed out I froze it and floated it to me. The ice formed sharp icicles. The taller man smiled "Do it and I'll kill you"

The man's skin then turned to titanium. His hand became a large sword. "Metal skin and body shapeshifting, I change into an animal but I can make weapons out of mid-air. I know what you and your friends will do, My friends did the same thing and they died."

I looked at the man straight in the eye. He winked. I walked away clenching my fists. Valda's words stung my brain 'You're weak, No one will ever love you, You'll die sad and alone and be that crazy cat lady!'

I clenched my fists even tighter pushing my nails deep into my skin I felt blood running through my fingers but I didn't care. Every swears every little bit of bullying someone had been throwing at me came running back into my head. I punched the lockers leaving a dent. I continued walking but then I noticed the door was opening a little. I opened it more to see Valda's stuff. Old photos lined her locker walls. I looked at them. The photos showed a side of Valda that I had never had the pleasure of meeting. The photos showed a girl with a big smile and a smiling lady. Valda looked about 5 in the photos and she looked happy. "Tum chaperon or dekh rahe ho?"

I turned to see Pari looking at me. Her face was bruised and scared. "Pari I can't speak.... Anything in other Languages."

Pari let out a short giggle. "Sorry I keep forgetting, I said Why are you snooping in Valda's locker?"

I smiled at Pari. She suited everything she wore with her tanned skin, dark hair and kind face. "It opened when I hit it"

I stopped. "Umm I didn't want to say that"

I stared at the girl. I had felt obligated, to tell the truth to her when she asked. "Pari do you have powers?"

Pari blushed "Umm I don't know just forget what happened"

My mind went blank. "Oh hey Pari!"

I continued to walk down the hall and couldn't remember a thing from my conversation with her.

Suddenly my eyes started to burn, I dropped to the floor screaming in pain as I tried to claw my eyes out.
