No one knows my name.

I travel through the halls.

They glance at me but don't notice.

My powers aren't anything great.

I just float. And sink.

What good is sinking if you want to soar.

What good is soaring if you want to be on the ground.

Most people who know me never talk to me. Even my old friend Vic turned a blind eye to me. I was one of the first to get powers. I was the first people screamed at. But all I do is float. Angry churned inside of me and I began to sink to the floor. I calm myself and made myself feel happier so I began to float. My powers were weird I didn't get how people had better powers. I felt useless. I wouldn't go outside to the crowd of people. I drifted through the school trying to find a classroom to call my home until this whole thing was over. I didn't trust anyone here. Even my friends could be my enemies. Friends? I had none.

I stepped into the food tech kitchen. Food was still on some of the stoves nothing burned. All the food was plated up ready for the teacher to taste but I knew that wouldn't happen. I picked up the best looking burger and took a bite. The burger was half cold and had way to much spice. I placed it down and picked up another, This one was still warm so I took a bite. I stepped back into the hall, Burger in one hand I peeked into the classrooms until I found a good one. I chose room 103. It was on the first floor so I thought it would be easy to leave if I had to. The classroom was filled with the normal desks and chairs, Some were tipped others lay on the floor with their legs in the air. I heaved, Pushed and pulled the desks and chairs against the back of the classroom. I piled them up until I had a good amount of space to sleep and live in. I knew that I would probably end up having to share the room with someone but for now I had the room to myself. I heard footsteps in the corridor yelling and jeers filled the air. I heard the door of my new room creak open. "Hey, Jacob"

It was Vic. "Here"

She tossed me a green t-shirt that matched my eye color. "Huh, whats this for"

"The men gave us some food and some t-shirts for us to wear."

She grimaced. "I know you don't trust them but..."

I understood. "Yeah I understand"

She nodded and closed the door. My heart skipped a few beats. Then it started to slow. I breathed in out slowly I felt my feet lift off the floor "No No No"

My head hit the ceiling I everything went dark.
