Chapter 3:- Lupa

"I knew Vic and Nina were here. I just."

I let out a sigh. "I just couldn't expose us. I thought-"

"You thought wrong"

"Jax! Wait! Miss said-"

"DON'T YOU GET IT! I DON'T CARE WHAT MISS ROCKING SAID! I AM SICK AND TIRED OF ALL THIS SAVING THE WORLD BUSINESS CAN'T WE JUST SPEND ONE DAY WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT THE VIRUS!"

Jax breathed in heavily. "Lu, I'm sorry. It's just- I miss them"

I ran forward and hugged Jax. "Jax, I miss my parents too but- You know we did what we had to do"

Jax let out a little whimper. I pet him and stroked his ears. He smiled at me. "Lu, I'm happy I have you!"

His tailed waged and so did mine. I released him and nuzzled him in the neck. "Jax, Are you ready?"

I put my hand near his. "Yes"

He grabbed my hand and we walked into the hall. My tail stood straight up some people looked at me others kept going. I saw Victoria with clasps over her wings pressing them against her body, Two men dressed fully in black lead her towards the front of the school. "Stop"

I barked with all my might. The men turned to face me. Another man walked out of a room nearby. "Ahh, Wolf ones! Take them!"

The man pointed at me but no one came closer. Jax's grip tightened. "Are you sure you know what you're doing?" He whispered so softly that without my wolf ears I couldn't have heard him. "I'm sure" I whispered back. "Students of Ford high!"

I barked in my alpha voice. "These men want to test you like guinea pigs! Miss Rocking wants to free you all! For the small price of destroying your school!"

The crowd went quiet. The man in the doorway pressed something on his watch that let out a high pitch sound that hurt my ears. The men in black didn't seem bothered by the sound. They dropped Vic and marched out the door. Until there was no more left. The teacher followed like they were hypnotized. I whimpered and yelped. I felt Jax's hand slip from mine as a crowd of students ran crazily through the halls all holding their heads crying out in pain. The hall had turned into a sea of cries and shouts as groups split up and students powers went crazy. I heard the snapping of metal then it all went silent.

I woke to see Jax peering down at me. Students ran around still in a panic. I noticed a boy whose hair was on fire!?Jax pulled me up and lead me through the crowd to one of the classrooms. "Lu, Look outside!"

I looked out the window to see men all dressed in black along with teachers and worried parents looking at the school. They stood behind a large barbed fence. "Jax, How long was I out for?"

I turned to look at Jax his Dark eyes and Reddy brown hair -That always lay in mop that would follow his face- His black fuzzy ears that matched his tail perfectly. He turned to face me. "You were out for about 10mins, I don't know how they put this fence up in that time but they did! And we still need to destroy this school before the Virus spreads even more!"

I touched my hand to my forehead. I felt blood and a scar. Jax reached over to my ears. "Ha, Its funny you've only had them for a few days but-"

He heaved a sigh. "You suit them so much I can't even remember you without them"

He ran his fingers along my ears. " I never knew it was possible for a power to be passed on to another"

"Well, it is. Ever since we came here nothing's been going well. First, when the student's powers kick in I somehow turn into a werewolf type thing like you. Second-"

I let out a sigh "I'm not allowed to speak to my friends"

I twisted the ring on middle finger with my left hand. Jax reached for my hand and placed his over my hand. He gave out a nervous laugh and I looked up at his face. My violet eye I could tell were burning into him. "Ever since you got those ears and tail I feel like you're my pup and I have to protect you."

I growled. "I can protect myself!"

I huffed indignantly. "Oh yeah then how do you explain-"

Jax was cut off by a girl with golden brown hair stumbling into the room. Her hair curled up at the bottom and her face was painted with fear. Her cold blue eyes darted around the room. "Help me"

She let out in a shuddering voice. "Please"

Her body went limp and she hit the floor. I raced over to her. I placed my palm on her head. "Ahh"

I removed my hand. Steam rose from where I had placed my hand. "She's ice cold"

A girl with blonde short hair entered the room. Her hair was curled and her posture screams independent. I wished I could be similar like that to her. "Lupa?"

I looked harder at the girl. "Victoria?"

I wanted to hug her but I needed to help the girl on the floor. "Quick get this girl some blankets she's as cold as ice"

Vic didn't move. "That's not what's wrong with Nina."

I looked harder at the girl. "Oh my god! But why is she so cold"

A wave of realization swept over me. "If that's not the problem then-"

Vic cut me off. "Her eyes changed color, She was screaming in pain as it happened."

Finally, Jax said something. "Well, what are we doing standing around?! We need to wake her!"

I looked at Jax. His dark eyes twinkled. "Jax, Vic..."

A shiver went down my spine. "I don't think we're alone"
