"How was work ?" She asked me.
I lift her in the air, pressing my lips against hers.
"I missed you. Work was terrible, can't get into it. Its confidential.""You always tell me." She says.
"I know, but this is a personal case." I told her. She looks at me concerned."Enlightened me, why do you still talk to Nicholas?"
Her eyebrow raise in confusion, "Well, he was my friend before he was yours, if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have met remember? And he knows so much. His older sister is an Obstetrician-gynecologist doctor. I couldn't get in contact with her, but Nick was helpful enough to answer all my questions. Today Nick gave me a few key point on how to avoid any miscarriage during the first three months of my pregnancy. " Gloria was thrilled, as she spoke about her conversations with Nick.
Interesting how he can work and text at the same time."Gloria you're getting too excited. It hasn't been a month yet. Why can't you talk to your girlfriends about these stuff instead of Nick?"
"Are you jealous?" She blurted.
I paused.
"No, it's just that..." I tried to think of an excuse.
"You're the one who gave me his number and told me to message him anytime I needed something. Remember?" She asked me."I do, maybe you should text me more often. Tell me what your doing, how your day was, all your questions." I told her.
"I do, but you give me one worded answers", she frowns.
"I know, I'll do better. I'm sorry. This case at the firm has me all shaken up" I told her. She smiles and kisses me."Let's go out and eat tonight".
"Sure", I told her.The rest of the day consisted of shopping for baby stuff, eating, and spending time together in the mall as night falls.
When we got home, we worked together on cleaning the house as she wanted me to fix the floor I promised to do months ago. We spent the rest of the night watching movies and eating popcorn.Sunday January 12th, 2018- 7:00am (PAST)
*phone rings*
"Again?"
"Turn it off!" My wife yells annoyed.
I declined the call.
-one hours later- *phone rings*
"What?" I asked, picking up the phone.
This time its Nick calling.
"We need you at the firm. There's been another killing.""I'm on my way".
It was about 8am and once again I felt like I got no sleep. My body aches as if I lifted a toe truck. My hands hurt, and were bruised. It was probably because off all the bags I was holding and the wooded floors she wanted me to do before bed. I knew I was getting old, but not this old to bruise easy like this. Maybe I should see a doctor. I am sick.I picked up Addy and Ryan at the firm then went to the murder scene. Nick was already there investigating. This time two people are dead.
A female who hung herself and a young man with stab wounds.Nicholas approaches us leaving some of our assistance to take pictures of the bodies.
He looks at us silently before he speaks and shares his input.
"Evidence show us that after she stabbed her boyfriend she hung herself. The only fingerprints in this room are hers and his.I watched as she dangled in the air. It was disturbing.

"Fascinating, I never seen anything like this" paper boy Ryan says. I looked at him hoping he'd keep his mouth shut and not say stupid stuff on scene. Every time he spoke on the crime scene, he sounded like a delinquent.
