Chapter I

There will always be certain memories engraved in creatures minds. Memories that will never be forgotten even if you try every possible way of forgetting, they will always be there. Sooner or later you will have to accept your past and move on with the future. Especially if your past was full of your mother working with deadly magic spells, curses, and even trying to gain more strength to defeat her enemies. Telling you every night that humans are corrupted with greed and selfish desires to rule everything and to trust no one.

When she was fifteen her mother disappeared one night never returning home at her usual time. Early in the morning, Ace felt uneasy and ordered their loyal maid of 20 years Eida to cast an Eagle Eye spell, which helps with finding a person's whereabouts. A couple minutes later, Eida came back with her face flushed pale and her legs shaking. "Eida, what is it, what happened to her?" Ace asked with her voice getting deeper with every word. Her stomach was turning, she knew just by looking at her maid who was in a state of shock that something bad happened to her mother. Eida looked at Ace, her voice shaking said "Y-your mother has died Ace." Right after she had finished her statement she fell to the floor and began to cry. Ace, trying to keep an emotionless face (stoicism ran through her blood) didn't want to believe what Eida said. She knew this would happen, she had a feeling for years now that her mother was walking right up to death's door when she was trying to take down the four other kingdoms.

"It appears that one of her plans failed and h-hurt her instead." Eida said looking up at Ace. She was shocked to see that Ace's face didn't show sadness, it showed rage and her eyes staring right back at Eida's with no tears running down her cheek. "My mother's plans were always flawless, how dare you predict her death was her fault!" Ace was fuming with anger. No, this wasn't her mother's mistake, she would never let one of her spells get out of hand. This was a murder. Someone killed the one person she ever loved. If this person was asking for a death wish, then one was surely coming their way. Ace turned away from Eida who was still sobbing on the floor saying why did she have to leave so soon, and she was too young to go. Ace looked out onto to the forest having a bit of an overview of the tree tops (her being on the fourth floor of the castle) and started to plot how she was going to torture the person who took her mother's life. "It was quiet for too long. Now, a wave of death will come and dispose of those who have a grotesque soul." Ace knew it was time to put all of her training and knowledge to use for a different mission, which was out of her norm. Seeking the murderer and having their last words be a scream in agony.

A bit more information about our main character...

She's intimidating, independent, very intelligent, quick witted, and is always serious when it comes to business with the kingdom, she's a serious person overall. She also has a mysterious and secretive aura and eyes that pierce the soul, which is good for getting people to break and tell her useful information. She has inhuman strength and agility perfect for beating someone up.

Ace has short dark brown hair, dark brown eyes (almost black), dark skin, and she is 5'6.
