It had been a quiet midsummer morning when Titania had first laid foot on Greendales soil. The birdsong that would normally be echoing through the woods had fallen silent, even the gentle wind blowing through the branches made no noise as if it were afraid of vexing her with its rustling.
Titania paid the silence no mind as she moved towards the small town of Greendale. Today she was on a mission, her children had grown complacent and she was going to shake things up once more. Throughout her long life she had lain with many humans both mortal and witch alike but to none had she bore a child, but today that would change. She smiled to herself as she imagined the shock and horror the Seelie court would be in when they found out a half-fae would be a contender for the Twilight Throne.
It was almost 10am when she spotted him. Shaggy dark brown hair covered the top of his head partially covering his eyes, his features where handsome and his body was hardened by manual labor, he would be an excellent candidate.
He was currently bent over a mortal machine one of their motorised carriages.
"Excuse me sir would you be able to help me out? I'm afraid I have gotten myself a little turned around." She asked giving her voice a little dash of Seelie allure.
Startled the man looked up at Titania shocked to see the most beautiful woman he had ever seen before him.
"Forgive me miss i didn't see you there. My name is Jacob and I'd be happy to help you" The man replied managing to throw a sentence together so he didn't make a fool of himself infront of her.
With that she knew she had him. The following 24 hours would eventually fade from Jacobs memory as time passed. Summer giving way to autumn then to winter and finally on one spring morning on march 31st Jacob while going to collect the morning mail would almost trip over a small basket placed just on the doorstep.
Inside the basket was a little boy only a few days old with a letter beside him from Titania explaining that the boy was his son and she was unable to care for him.
Jacob carefully picked up the babe hugging him close to his chest he called for his daughter who while only three but already running around like the Flash.
"Wa dat dadda?" She asked looking at the bundle in his arms curiously.
"This is your new little brother Cassie-bells, though I suppose he does need a name doesn't he hmm... how about Wallace... yes Wallace Grace after his grandfather. Welcome home little Wallace."
