After summer break;

"It's almost Graduation Day" Jisoo said to remind them. All of them sighed.
"I just realised that.. that means, we will not see each other often" Ten said. Some of them nodded.
Jennie exchanged looks with Taeyong.

"What are your plans after quitting high school?" Taeyong asked. They were at one of the most famous cafes in Seoul at that time.
"I want to study abroad. You know, dreams" Jennie said with a smile on her face.
Taeyong chuckled. "New Zealand has been your dream ever since you were a kid isn't it?"
Jennie nodded. "Will you be okay if I study there?"
"Why would I not be okay? Chasing your dream is way more important than me" Taeyong said.
"I know.. I was expecting you to ask me to stay" Jennie said. Taeyong laughed. He knew Jennie was joking.
"I do. I really want you to stay. But I don't want to restrain you from studying abroad" Taeyong told. Jennie chuckled.
"I know right.. I'll miss you a lot" She said.
"Me too" Taeyong said. They looked at each other and laughed.

Jennie snapped out of her daydreaming. She looked at Taeyong with a pair of sad eyes.
Taeyong chuckled. He mumbled, "do not be sad!" Jennie knew what he meant on the spot. She nodded and smiled. They were sitting across of each other and their friends were busy discussing.
"I'm gonna miss you guys a lot after this" Lisa said. "Aw don't say that,Lisa. We can meet up!" Johnny said.
Lisa smiled as her eyes got teary.
"Aw Lalisa don't be sad" Jennie said and dragged Lisa closer to her. She ruffled her hair and patted her back.
"You are always with us" Jennie said. Lisa laughed and sat straight.
"Mhm" Lisa replied. She got emotional thinking they will part ways after quitting school.

"Want to go to a date after this?" Taeyong asked Jennie. Jennie chuckled.
"Of course! But I have tuition! Is it alright?" Jennie asked. Taeyong nodded.
"I'll send you home before the tuition starts!" Taeyong said. Jennie nodded.
"Bye! See you after school" Jennie said. She patted Taeyong's head before leaving.
Taeyong looked at her and smiled before heading to his class.

"How was today?" Taeyong asked. He fastened his seatbelt. Jennie was looking for her phone in her school bag.
"Huh? Oh, how was today? As usual. It was nice. Nothing more nothing less" Jennie told.
"Uhm I don't have any interesting story. How about you?" Jennie asked.
"You know, my English teacher asked us to go in front and talk whatever we want. And she asked us to speak in English. She wanted us to try. She chose me after she chose the students who got good grades in English. I tried really hard and she praised me for having a good accent and she even said that I have improved a lot" Taeyong told.
Jennie smiled happily when she heard that.
"That's great! What did you talk about?" Jennie asked. Taeyong gnawed his bottom lip.
"I talked about how I became friend with someone unexpected," Taeyong told. He hoped Jennie knew what he told the entire class.
"So you told them about us?" Jennie asked. Her heart fluttered when Taeyong told he talked about them. She never knew he would do that.
Taeyong nodded shyly. "Yes, what else. I didn't know what I should talk about!"
"It's okay! You did great! I'll ask one of your classmates then" Jennie said.
"Why ask them when you can ask me!" Taeyong said. Jennie laughed seeing he's being childish.
"When we arrive at the cafe, you tell me everything, okay?" Jennie said to make a deal with him.

Taeyong waited for Jennie to take their drinks at the counter.
"So, tell me what did you tell them about us?" Jennie asked. She was anticipating it.
"I told them that we first started as rivals and then we became friends because of Jaehyun and Rosè. And then I developed feelings for you and I was confused about my feelings. But I gathered my courage to confess to you and finally, I made you mine!" Taeyong told.
"That was a short explanation but I liked it. You did well!" Jennie praised him.
Taeyong smiled while listening to her.
It has become their routine to listen to each other's story at the end of the day.
