everyone left us two alone. i was so happy that this was happening. daniel liked me, i liked him. could we be a thing? did he genuinely like me? i went inside the bathroom to wipe my make-up off and change into my pyjamas. as i was wiping, i heard a knock.

"come in", I replied softly. I saw daniel walk in and look at me mischievously. it was almost like i was his snack. he started laughing.

"your pyjamas are cute!".

"hey! my mom got them for me." i was wearing a shirt with a pug on it and unicorn shorts. i ignored his comments and continued with my night routine. he was being very...clingy.

"liv, we need to talk. about us." he said with a grin.

"sure. i've told you how i feel. i love you mr seavey. with all my heart." he didn't respond.

instead, he picked me up and i wrapped my legs around his muscular body. he carried me towards the bed and he put me down with care. he just left me there while he went to use the bathroom.

"i can't. you guys are too cute!" from the corner of my eye, i see leni and indi filming on their phones. seriously.

"can i have at least a little privacy? next time knock! we could be busy."

"oh my god, indi. imagine little daniel's running around the house!" leni said with excitement. they both were so thrilled.

"when i said we were busy, i didn't mean it that way. i meant i think he was gonna ask me to be his girlfriend."

both of them gasped, taking their phones out again.

"liv, pretend we aren't here. we need to record this. it's history! who said i need to go to school to learn? i'm experiencing history right here, right now." indi argued.

i rolled my eyes and signalled them to get out.

i rolled on my stomach and went on instagram. daniel came out of the bathroom and couldn't wipe the smile of his face. he had been eavesdropping. Great.

"woah, you think i want you to be my girlfriend?"

"well, i don't know. i was just getting the impression that-"

"well, there is this girl. she is beautiful and she has no imperfections. we met coincidentally and let's just say she still owes me a shirt. i think i'm growing feelings on her and she is just so sweet. i've never felt the chemistry with anyone else but her. hopefully, she agrees to be...mine." he finished.

without any hesitation, i ran up to him and hugged him. i was in tears. this boy made me so happy. he held my face and said 'i love you'. more tears flushed out. i couldn't deal with all this. he was perfect.

i was getting tired so i told him to meet me in bed. i know what you're thinking.

no. just, no. we weren't ready for that and that isn't what a relationship is about. we are taking baby steps and i loved that because i'm wasn't ready for anything else. soon, i fell asleep since i had had a really long day.

i was woken up by an arm around my waist.

"zach, stop cheating on indi." i thought. i turned to my side and to my surprise it was daniel. he was sleeping so quietly. he rested his chin on my shoulder. it was like he was protecting me from anything and everyone. i was seriously in love with this boy.
