The Moonlight
The moonlight is here again,
It's that time of the day,
The sky is calm and still,
Staring up at the sky,
The moonlight reflects down.
It's effect is reassuring,
Giving sense of security.
The stars surround the moon,
But only on clear days.
When the sky is cloudy,
The stars don't like to stay.
Instead they stay and hide,
Not able to shine through.
But you can always see the moon,
As it shares it's special moonlight.
The moon isn't always shown in full,
But it's normally always seen.
You might not realise until the end,
But the moonlight has a great effect.
Think about it for a minute.
Try to imagine a life without it.
I'll tell you right now,
It wouldn't be the same.
If the moonlight was gone,
In your heart it would remain.
