THE CAR RIDE/AIRPORT scene

Grace's P.O.V

"Oh my god, I feel so car sick right now" I say as I sit in the passenger seat, thanking myself for letting Veronica win the argumant on who's driving

"It's okay Grace, your probably just really nervous and excited for for our big adventure."

"Yeah, I guess, but just gimme a plastic bag just incase it's the McDonalds we just had."

"Damn, you worry to much" Veronica says as she throws the plastic bag we got from our take-out meal."

"Worried? Pfff. I'm to excited for PAX to be worried" I say sarcastically

"Hey, you and I are going to have a FANTASTIC time" Veronica say's while lightly nudging me for being a sarcastic dummy

"I think I'm just going to look through Twitter and see if my mom as posted anything weird about me leaving." I say

"Um... your mom has Twitter? HAHAHAHHHAHAH oh my god that's the most cutest thing I've ever heard!" Veronica say's while almost spitting out her Cocacola from laughing to hard

"Hey shut up, she only has Twitter to watch out for me incase somebody is Tweeting something obnoxious about me or mean. I guess she just want's to know what going on in my life since A, I never talk to her and B, everyday I'm on my laptop or on my phone, sitting in my room all day."

"Okay, whatever you say"

I slide my phone open and check my moms twitter. Oh my god. Her whole feed is blown up by sad faces and pictures of my brothers crying. I think I'll just keep to myself.

"So anything weird posted on your moms twitter such as a new boyfriend, or new tobacco products she's been hiding from you and waiting for you to leave?" Veronica says sarcastically

I just ignore her and think about how bad this actually could be. Could my mom actully be sadder then when dad left us? Probably not. She never went one day without crying for a couple of hours.

We finally arrive at the airport which has felt like decades but only took a few hours.

"Hey are you okay? What happened a few hours ago? I didn't mean to be so ru-

"I'm fine Ron (Nickname for Veronica)" I say shifting awkwardly
