At the Requiem, Kira and Nevaeh are doing inventory at the bar. They're talking about the party that they would organize for the big day.

"Are you sure that we won't be inviting them?" Nevaeh asked Kira.

"Honestly, I want him to be there." Kira heaved a sigh. "He's the core of our group."

"Then why not invite him then?"

"Fine, I'll talk to him later."

"And also, I've been thinking about how we treated Mara ever since they've been together." Kira's eyes widened with Nevaeh's comment.

"Well, maybe I just can't get over the fact that he fell for another."

"Let's give Mara a chance." Nevaeh pointed to Mara and Kyle who just entered the door. "They seem to be happy together."

Kyle and Mara approached the bar. "Hi, Kira, Aya." Mara greeted.

"Hi Mara." Nevaeh greeted back. "How are you guys doing?"

Kyle's eye narrowed at the question. Nevaeh never asked how they are doing before.

"We're okay." Kyle answered nonetheless and led Mara towards the stage.

"Hey, Kyle!" Kira called and was hesitant on the next statement that came out. "We have a party coming up this weekend and we would like you guys to come."

"What's the reason of the party?" Kyle curioused.

"Nothing, just a simple gathering." Nevaeh answered. "It's been a long time since we've been together, all of us."

"When will this be?" Mara showing a little excitement.

"This coming sunday." Kira setting up the bottles in the rack. "We will close the bar this sunday for our get together.

"Fine, we'll be there." Kyle agreed

After the conversation, Kyle and Mara were left at the bar setting up the stage. Mara can't help but think about the invite that they received from Kira and Nevaeh.

"Kyle, is it really okay for me to come with you this sunday?" it was evident she was worried. "I mean, it's like a college reunion."

"You're with me, so, don't worry about it." Kyle sensing her tone. "Just be yourself."

"You can't stop me from worrying." she sat on the stage. "That was the first time they talked to me since we've been together."

"Didn't I tell you that they will come to their senses?" Kyle smiling at her.

Mara can only smile back. She didn't push the topic. Come what may, that's what she was thinking. As long as Kyle would not leave her side during the gathering, it would be fine.

Days passed quickly and it's already Sunday morning. Kira and Stephen are in charge of the food and drinks. Nevaeh and Damian are working on the place. While Kyle and Mara, as much as they would want to do something, they were left out of the planning. Kira said that Kyle coming will be help enough.

"What time should we be there?" Kyle asking Mara who was cooking their dinner.

"Kira said it would start at 9pm." Mara answered from the kitchen.

"In that case, you better get ready." Kyle headed to the assist her in cooking. "I'll finish that up."

"Okay, we'll head there after we've eaten." Mara went to the bath to begin her rituals.

Kyle was left alone in the kitchen. While setting up the table, his sight fell upon the picture hanging on the wall. He stared at it for a couple minutes.
