Chapter 22: Officially yours (2)

"Our night just started."

Nag- thank you si Karylle and Vice sa lahat ng tumulong, smudged na ang makeup ni K kakaiyak pero okay lang dahil Vice's effort was worth the tears of happiness. She made sure to hug everyone and say thanks then sabi ni Vice na dapat umalis na sila kasi may sched ang night nila.

Pagkalabas nila, dumiretso silang dalawa sa hummer ni Vice. Pag-kabukas ni Karylle ng passenger seat, there's a boquet of red roses on the seat. Karylle gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. Si Vice naman ay naka kilig smile habang pinapanuod ang kanyang girlfriend. Nakapamulsya sya habang titig na titig kay Karylle na napakalaki naman ang ngiti.

"Vice!! Oh my god." Karylle cried out then jumped into his arms again. She seperated and kissed him on the cheeks.

"Grabe ka." Karylle giggled while staring down at the boquet.

Vice started driving and napansin ni Karylle na parang ang familiar ng daan na dinadaanan nila.

Karylle: San tayo pupunta?

Vice: Hintayin mo.

Karylle: Ang dami mo namang pakulo.. I can't believe. Thank you so much.

Vice: Hindi ah, thank YOU dahil sinagot mo ako.

Karylle: After all that paano ba naman kita hindi sasagutin. *laughs* Akala ko ba di ka marunong magka-girlfriend? Parang experienced na experienced oh.

Vice: Hindi ah. Google lang yan!

Karylle: I thank God na binigay ka nya sakin. *smiles to herself while looking down at the roses* You're so worth the wait and all the heartbreaks..

Vice: Aba kung alam ko lang na one night stand lang pala ang kailan ko gawin para mahanap yung true love edi dapat dati pa kita nilasing ng ganun.

Karylle took a picture of the boquet of roses then posted it on instagram, she wanted to show off Vice in some way pero she's not sure if they're going to go public or not so she decided this is good enough because the VK babies are probably going to over-analyze and get it. ;)

Tumigil na ang kotse and pag-tingin nya sa labas, napansin nya na nandun sila sa bahay nila a.k.a Ms. Z's house. Tatanungin na sana ni Karylle kung bakit sila andun kaso lumabas na ng kotse si Vice and binuksan ang pintuan ni K.

"Wag mo na i-question, sumunod ka nalang." Vice laughed while grabbing her hand and leading the way.

Pag-kapasok ni Karylle sa loob ng bahay, she was greeted by her mom and her sisters who are all smiling happily with glassy eyes. Tuwang tuwa si Ms. Z and pumapalakpak ng mahina while all her sisters are beaming and taking pictures.

Tumingin si Karylle kay Vice then back to her family, she's confused but she's happy. She's overwhelmed once again. Vice went ahead and greeted all her family by kissing their cheeks then Karylle did the same. Seeing Vice so comfortable and respectful with her family made her happy.

"What's this?" Karylle asked softly, the smile she got from earlier still never left her face.

"Syempre naman.. dinner with your family." Sagot ni Vice.

"Akala ko ba nag-ask ka na ng permission?"

"Oo nga pero uulitin ko lang para kasama ka this time. Alam ko naman na family oriented ka at mahalaga sayo opinionn ng pamilya mo." Ngumiti si Vice na parang nahihiya.
