Indies POV cont

Indie leaned back in her chair. "Mr . Peterson, uh Shane, have you seen the plan that we drawn up for this development?"
"Yes, I have"
"what do you think about it?"
"About as much as urban sprawl in general."
"We have made ever effort to maintain stability and trust in what we do and the products we use. She said." You do know the lingo, don't you? We both know not everyone you can trust once you pour out the concrete on the land the run off will begin".
"It's no lingo for us. Its an important part of our corporate mission". Michael said finally speaking up.
"I have reviewed the plans you guys have came up with and I've seen no evidence of that," Shane said." Our mission is constantly evolving", Michael said in an defensive tone.
"So you're refusal to our development and this is your way to stop it?" Indie brake in, knowing that they could only lose in this debate about the companies lack of green building practices.
"You should know this will go forward with or without your consent"
"I would never be so judgemental to assume otherwise. I am only an ordinary ranch keeper. I know am not powerful enough to take you guys on but I would to simply keep what's mine".
"But your still not agreeing to our proposal", she said." I am willing to to show you why I don't want to sell my farm."
"I've seen this place before"
"Yes but you were looking at it from your point of view. I want you to see it as it really is.
Just maybe if she went out to look she could get a better view of what this man was talking about. By the land wasn't the only thing see wanted to see.
"Okay. When do you want me?. She said Shane's smile was so bright she was glad he had his back to to Michael it made her feel relief to know he's thinking the same thing she was.
"Tomorrow morning will be okay if your free that is?"
"Tomorrow will be fine don't worry I know where your is"
" okay then he said standing up I'll be on my way" he gave them an hand shake then he was gone.
