"Dad hurry up before were late i wanna be there when the doors open so I can get in line to meet Johnnie", I yelled at my dad. He sighed as we sped down the highway to the warped venue. I've been waiting months to meet Johnnie and when I found out he was on warped I made my parents buy tickets. I love Johnnie Guilbert and I'll do whatever it takes to meet him.
We pulled Into the venue lot at approximately 11:05, we were 5 minutes late. As soon as my dad stopped the car i yelled goodbye an ran to get my bag and ticket checked and then I ran into warped. The first band I went to see was Crown The Empire. As soon as CTE finished I ran to the youtuber tent it was only 11:30, the YouTube meet up was at three but I got in line anyway. I was third in line by the time it was 3 o'clock I was dehydrated and really sweaty, this is gonna be a great first impression, (note sarcasm) but just as I thought this the youtubers came to the tent.
After about 10 minutes it was my turn to meet the youtubers. So I met Damon and Bryan and then I got to Johnnie. As I walked up to johnnie we smiled at each other and he asked how my day was and what bands I saw. I answered and then we took a picture and I had to go.
I was so happy after I met Johnnie that I couldn't stop smiling. One hour later I realized The Ready Set was playing so I went to the inside pavilion to go watch them. I had a MSL wristband so I went backstage to watch. Just as I got backstage they started to play. I was standing there watching the band when I saw a boy with black hair walk up behind me and stand next to me, I looked behind me and realized it was Johnnie. Once I realized it was him I smiled and said "hey you're Johnnie Guilbert." He replied by saying yes and giving me a small off to the side hug. We talked until The Ready Set stopped playing and then Johnnie said "I have to go but I would love to stay in touch you seem really cool". so we exchanged numbers and off he went. I literally felt like u was gonna explode with happiness.
