When she first met him, She didn't think that she would be in this spot. Down the road, far away from her childhood home, her life slipping through the hands of the person she hates most. But she would have thought that you were crazy if you told her that she would be okay with it. That because the man she loves is next to her, and that he's not going to die would be enough for her. That she would be okay because her family, a group of hard faced 'thugs', were okay. But She would have believed you if you had told her that She did it for love.
A day, which was a few years ago, was when it started. That was when she met him. It wasn't a sunshine and rainbows love at first sight. That only happens in the stories. It was online, in one of the dirtiest cracks of the internet, Omegle. They met because they were both looking for a decent Roleplay partner. I suppose you could say that they both found one.
Another 6 months down the road, was when she realized that she loved him. Oh I'm sorry, loves. They had gotten to know each other, aside from the Roleplay. In fact they weren't really role playing anymore, just talking. She talked to him every chance she got. She thought about him all the other chances. I guess you could say she was head over heels for him. But she didn't tell him, and she should have.
Another 6 months? Complicated. He had left, no trace of him. He just stopped talking to her. And honestly, she got over it quick. She was used to being left, so it wasn't different to her. Just another person leaving. There was, however, always a trace of him left with her. After a few months, the denial wore off. And she felt that hole in her chest. The half of her soul that was missing. She was miserable. She blamed herself, 'maybe if I had told him then he wouldn't have left'. She had made reasons and scenarios up. She was always left with either, he cheated. Or he got bored. But for some reason, he came back. He came back, and they talked. She loved the sound of his voice, it was enough to make her change her outlook on the situation. She hid how mad, how horribly empty she had been. And one day, she made what she thinks to be a biggest mistake. She told him, she confessed to the big lie. That she wasn't 18,but in fact 16. At the time. Which brought some issues, it did. But he seemed to still love her. She really thought that he did. Things change.
And lastly, bringing you up to speed? Surprise! He left again. No trace, not a damn goodbye. But this time, it ruined her. She self destructed. That Straight A student plummeted. That perfect little angel became an irritable, and useless mess. To this day, she'll tell you that she was over him. Don't let that fool you. That pain of loosing him will always be in her chest. And she will never stop hoping that he comes back, no matter how familiar she is to the fact that she's stuck in a cycle.

RomanceIf I were to admit my biggest regret, it would never ever be loving him. Or being so willing to give into him. To give into that handsome, desirable force of darkness. It would be not telling him exactly how much I loved him since day one.
