30) Awkward

You and Tom both were friends from some years. With time you both emerged feelings for each other. You both had an idea that its a two sides trip but were never sure about it so neighter of you had confesssed yet though it was quite obvious to people around you and your common friends. Once he dropped you home after ending your shifts at the company you both work for. As it was late already and you had odered for a pizza and cold drink for dinner on your way back home, you insisted him to have dinner with you. He agreed and after dinner when you walked him towards door being a genrous host that you are, when you turned to him for saying "goodbye", your eyes met with his and you both had an cute eyelock for a moment. When you both came out of your trance, it was an awkward moment for you both as blush was visible on both of you. Both out of words, but you managed to say,

"So!! Amm.. catch you tomorrow Tommy boy {as you use to call him}.", you said awkwardly.

He chuckled as you called him so and looking down at floor trying to prevent from that awkwardness, he sighs,

"Yeah right!!! {Pause} amm thanks for dinner anyway. So amm {pause} will see you in morning. Good night {y/n}.", he said finally turning towards the door.

"Night!!" You said smiling iting your lower lip in nervousness.
