A week passed.

The boys hadn't appeared every single night in material form but made sure you knew they were there. They were attached to your hip, but it didn't bother you much.
Life went on as normal as it could with your 8 demon friends.

Tonight was one of those nights where you stayed up late, looking out of the window of your apartment. You held a cup of tea in your hands, taking comfort in the warmth it gave off. Strangely enough, the guys weren't there with you. You sat in peace and silence, and you were satisfied with life.

You thought back to when you were 15. To the first time you played the Ouija board. You found out there was a spirit in your house, Evan, and since you knew that he was living with you, you had attempted to befriend him.
And you did! You were friends for a long time before you left the house. Since Evan was attached to the house, he couldn't leave it for very long. You hadn't seen him in years.

"(Y/N)?" Someone called your name softly.
Turning your head, you saw Seonghwa and Hongjoong.
"Hey." You answered softly with a warm smile. Hongjoong felt something burn in his chest, but it wasn't a painful feeling. It was nice.

"Is it okay if we sit?" Seonghwa asked.
"Of course, go ahead."

The two demons quietly sat down on both sides of you. You kept looking out of the window.
"I guess moonlight doesn't affect you either." You broke the silence.
"I guess not."

You looked around outside, admiring the way the moonlight fell on the scenery, seemingly giving everything a silver hue.

"So you just... sit and stare outside? We've seen you do this often but can't for the life of us make sense of it." Hongjoong said suddenly.
"That's exactly what I do." You answered, confusing him even more.
"Then...What are you thinking about?"
You shrugged. "I don't know. Nothing, really. Since I'm always thinking and not really realizing my surroundings I sometimes try to take the time and just... really see the world around me, I guess..."

Both demons looked at you in awe. They were always busy, always had their mind on other stuff, they never took time to notice the world around them.
But now they did, and they noticed how you stared fondly out of the window, at the park in front of your apartment, to the teenagers playing basketball on the court next to it even though it was dark. They noticed your calm and deep breaths, parted lips and twinkling eyes from the moon's reflection. They noticed the silver hue of the scenery outside, and the laughter of the teens, and the blowing of the wind.
But you were a sight more beautiful than that.

'Fuck,' Hongjoong though, 'Why the hell am I thinking that? Dear Satan...'

Seonghwa was curious about his feelings, and he felt strangely interested in you.

"What the hell?" You suddenly exclaimed, a frown taking over your calm expression as you leaned forward to the window.
The boys looked and saw that Jongho was holding the basketball high up in the sky. Apparently, the teens couldn't see him, because they were shouting and cowering back. Yeosang approached Jongho and was saying something to him, looking kinda angry, but then Jongho threw the ball at one of the guys, making them all turn and bolt.

"Are you shitting me?"

Jongho quickly ran, Yeosang sprinting to try and catch up to the younger demon.

You and the boys were speechless, and only when Jongho and Yeosang disappeared from view did you look at them.

"What the fuuuuuck..." Hongjoong whispered.

"I'm not even really surprised." Seonghwa said, chuckling sheepishly. "You oughta get used to it."

The door slammed open and Jongho burst in.

"Did you guys see that?" He belted, doubling over from laughter. You couldn't help but laugh yourself as you thought back to the faces of those people when the ball was thrown.

Seonghwa rolled his eyes and gave him a strange look, and Hongjoong rested his elbows on his knees, rubbing his face.
Yeosang, Yunho, Mingi, and San walked in, Yeosang fuming as Mingi and San were laughing together. Yunho was smiling and stayed in the doorway.

"Was that really necessary?" Hongjoong sighed.
"Yeah, that's what I said. I tried to stop him but he wouldn't listen." Yeosang grumbled.
"When does he listen." Yunho piped up, making you and Seonghwa smile.

"Where's Wooyoung though?" You remarked when Jongho stopped laughing.
"Huh, good question." He said, looking around the room but not seeing him anywhere.
"He was there when I entered." Yunho said, looking behind him but once again not seeing Wooyoung.

You got up out of your seat and decided to go look, trying to chase after your peace.

"Oh, wait! What did you think of the prank?" Jongho asked excitedly and went to grab your arm, but quickly stopped himself. You almost didn't notice.
"Honestly, it was pretty funny." You said and left. Jongho showed a goofy grin, his cheeks turning red.

"Oh my god look, he's blushing!" Yunho shouted, pointing to the young demon. And thus started the relentless teasing.

Meanwhile, you found Wooyoung standing by the front door, talking to someone.
"Wooyoung? What are you doing?"
Wooyoung looked over his shoulder and grinned, then moved out of the doorway.

You gasped as you locked eyes with someone you hadn't seen in a long time. He had grown with you- taller, more handsome, but with the same innocent blue eyes and slicked back hair.

"Evan?"
