Lani paced around her room until she heard a ding coming from her phone. She dashed over to see who it was. She unlocked it and sighed. It was Chris.

She was disappointed it wasn't felix but still happy that she could spend the day with her best friend. Ever since the day at the train tracks, they had become closer than ever. Chris always looked after her and cared for her more than he had ever done before.
Just as Lani had put her shoes on and was about to walk downstairs her mother called her. "Lani, your friend is here". Ah Chris!!. Lani looked in the mirror. "shit my hair" she whisper yelled as she remembered she hadn't brushed it. "mum, send him up to me!!" she yelled.
Lani rushed into the bathroom and grabed her hairbrush. Suddenly her phone dinged beside her.
