Outskirts of Medon...
Palla: I still think it would've been better if you'd both let me handle these rebels alone.
Est: Seriously, you're still on that?
Palla: Princess Minerva is more vulnerable with all three of us away on this mission. I wanted both of you to protect her while I was away.
Catria: We only cared for your safety, Palla.
Palla: I know...
Est: Don't worry about it. Our troops are still there to protect her. And as you know, they've gotten a lot stronger over the years.
Palla: I cannot deny that's true. But I still think it would've been better to have two of us protecting her than one.
Catria: Wait!
Est: Hmm?
Palla: What is it, Catria?
Catria: ... Isn't that...?
Est: Oh gosh...
Palla looks in turns to the direction they're looking at.
Palla: ... Prince Marth?!
Marth: Hmm?
Est: Well, isn't this a surprise.
Catria: (Prince Marth, here?)
Palla was the first to approach him.
Marth: Hello, Palla. It's been a while.
Palla: Yes, it has, your highness.
Marth: I said you could call me by my name.
Palla: I know, but it would be awkward, and also disrespectful.
Marth: Very well. Whatever you're comfortable with.
Catria, out of fear of being left out, softly spoke up.
Catria: Uh... Hello... Prince Marth...
Marth: Hello, Catria. It seems we're always meeting like this now.
Catria: ... Yes, it does...
She struggled to look him in the eye, something he always wondered about whenever he picked up on it.
Est: Hi, Marth!
Palla: Est!
Est: What? He said we could call him that.
Marth: It's fine. I'd much prefer that.
While Palla still didn't approve of how informal Est was being with the prince, Catria wondered if she'd ever be bold enough to address him that way.
Marth: Though I didn't expect to run into you three on my way here.
Palla: Likewise. So, your highness, what brings you to Medon?
Est: Off to meet with our Princess Minerva?
Marth: Actually, I won't be heading into the main part of Medon.
Est: You won't?
Marth: The reason we're here is because we heard someone was planning to rebel against Princess Minerva.
Palla: I see. So, word of it has already spread out?
Marth: So, it's true?
Palla: Unfortunately, yes. However, you don't need to concern yourself with it. We've been sent to bring them to justice.
Marth: I see. Are you in need of any assistance?
Palla: The choice to assist us it entirely up to you, your highness.
