real life
as jack and corbyn laid on jack's basement floor, corbyn began to feel better that his best friend was alive.
"Don't scare me like that- okay?" Corbyn said and jack nodded sadly.
"I'm sorry."
Corbyn just nodded his head and stared straight ahead at the wall in front of them.
"Don't- dont let yourself get this bad again. I'm always here for you. You know that right?"
Jack nodded and stood up. "You need to get home, it's late."
"It's fine. I'll just sleep here tonight, is that okay?"
Jack nodded and the two boys trailed up to Jack's bedroom. They held each other while they laid in Jack's bed. Corbyn felt a wave of relief for the boy in his arms.
"I'm so happy you're alive." Corbyn whispered and the two boys fell asleep.
-
"I can't go." Jack said and he stood in his bathroom. "I just cannot go to school." He yelled to Corbyn who was on the other side of the door.
"Yes you can." Corbyn said and threw on a random shirt he took from jacks dresser.
"No-"
"Yes- you'll have me all day. Don't worry about anyone. Ignore zach and the rest of the boys if you really want too." Corbyn said softly.
Jack opened the bathroom door and pouted. "Fine."
"Good." Corbyn said and grabbed his car keys. "We have to get my bag from my house before he head to school."
Jack nodded and the two boys walked out the door.
