Ayame: (He's not coming. I thought he wouldn't. But at the same time... I thought he would.)
She gazed at the stars. Most of the villagers were asleep. She continued to wait for Kakashi to turn up.
Ayame: (He's definitely not coming. I'd better close the shop now.)
Kakashi: Waiting for someone?
She looks up at the roof of her stand.
Ayame: Kakashi?!
Kakashi: Hi.
He jumps down the ground, landing in front of her.
Ayame: You're late, Kakashi! Did the cooking class take that long?!
Kakashi: I don't know what you're talking about.
Ayame: Oh really? Well then, get cooking.
She hands him and apron.
Ayame: I'll be sitting right here.
Kakashi: It's rude to keep a lady waiting, so I won't.
Ayame: Flattery won't get you out of this, Kakashi.
Kakashi: I'm not trying to get out of this. I'm just being a gentleman, as always.
Ayame: This better be good.
Kakashi: You won't be disappointed.

Ayame: Who's the other bowl for?
Kakashi: I have to treat myself too sometimes, don't I?
Ayame: Hmm.
She looks at her food.
Kakashi: How does it look?
Ayame: Okay...
Kakashi: And the smell?
Ayame: Good...
Kakashi: Like I said, you won't be disappointed.
Ayame: It's not over yet, Kakashi.
Kakashi: Then what are you waiting for? Dig in.
Ayame smiled and turned to her food. Her smile quickly disappeared.
Ayame: (From the looks of it, Kakashi might've actually done a good job. Maybe those cooking classes helped after all. This looks really good.)
Kakashi: Ayame?
Ayame: Hmm?
Kakashi: Your food will get cold.
Ayame: Thanks. Here goes.
She picks up her chopsticks and takes up a few strands of noodles. She then eats them.
Ayame: (MM!!!!!)
She froze.
Kakashi: Ayame, are you alright?
Ayame: Kakashi... it's... it's...
Kakashi: Yes?
Ayame: It's... FANTASTIC!!!!!
Kakashi: I know.
Ayame: I... I didn't think you'd actually be able to pull it off.
Kakashi: What do you mean?
Ayame: You know exactly what I mean. Were those cooking classes really that good?
