"Hey everybody look! Its mud girl" Someone in the crowd shouted. No doubt that its one of the jocks in school.
Everybody laughed at Brenna Kincaid as she strutted towards her locker. Her face flushed against her wishes, and she bent her head even lower to avoid any confrontation from the crowd.
Daniel Brian, a football player, stuck his leg out and 'accidentally' tripped Brenna making the crowd laugh even harder than before. Brenna braced herself from the impact but arms circled her waist holding her steady.
His presence in the hall quieten the laughter, making an eerie and uncomfortable silence tower upon them. Brenna looked up to thank her savior but immediately regretted it, for she broke the bad boys first and most important rule *Never Look Into His Eyes*
Her scarlet face became pale in a nanosecond, and was appalled. Brenna tried her best to break free from his grip but he tightened his grasp making her efforts futile.
Everybody gasped out loud when Devon Night jutted Brenna harshly towards a locker and pinned her against it. Brenna's breath was knocked out from her lungs but she remained still for she feared she would lose her life if she showed her pain.
"You looked" He mummered angrily. His breath tingled her earlobe and was hot against her cheek.
"You broke the rule, and for that you will pay the prize" he added.Devon pushed her aside and walked out of the hall. The crowd split in two, making way for him so that they don't anger him any further.
Brenna let out a breath of relief because he was finally gone but she knew better than that. She knew that he would come back for her for he is a man of his words. She is not the only one who knows of this but everyone. And that made her shivered with fear and for the hundred and ten times she wished that she could have a peaceful life.
