Time

Chapter 1: A New Medallion

As Link awoke from his slumber, he was relieved to find he finally had a good nights sleep without any nightmares of evil beings. He stepped out of bed and walked over to his chest looking for items he may need to repair or replenish. He froze in his tracks when he realized he had obtained an extra bottle with a letter written inside of it. He opened the bottle and began to read,

"Dearest Link,

        If you get this message I have passed away. I was taken captive by some Stalfos and have been held in this prison ever since. Even though Ganondorf was slain and peace is returned to Hyrule there are still some supporters out there that support the evil doings of their past king. I strategically hid this note under my cell so that they would not find this until I was either executed or removed from the cell. Unfortunately my execution date is set and I'm afraid I will not be alive much longer. Go to the Deku Tree Sprout, he holds the Light Medallion. I know your adventure has come to an end and you saved all of Hyrule. However, it is my dying wish you take over the not so tedious task of being the Sage of Light!! But I must warn you, with the triforce being safe the Medallion may change properties in your hands. All medallions evolve into the element in which you possess. Therefore being the 'Hero of Time' the medallion may change to fit the 'Time' element. Alas the time has come! I have also requested that the Garo bury me in the depths of Termina, which is the neighboring region. If you have any intentions of visiting me you must travel by horseback due to the vast travel distance from Hyrule to Termina. Good bye Link and may the Gods be with you!"

"HEY! by the looks of it this has come from the Sage of Light Rauru. Maybe you should head on over to the Deku Sprout and collect the medallion!" Exclaimed Navi. Link nodded and walked out of his Treehouse. As he stepped outside the Forest seemed to glimmer with anticipation as the Kokiri danced about under the canopy of the Kokiri Forest. Saria approached Link and asked him to dance with her as the Skull Kids played happy tunes on their flutes. "Isnt it great that everything is back in order??" Link nodded and smiled happily as the two danced for a while. Link excused himself and started to head over to the Deku Sprout. Upon arrival Link found the Deku Sprout smiling happily as he handed Link the medallion. The medallion seemed to react negatively at first but then seemed to transform. The light pattern suddenly shifted a little forming an outline of a clock and the four dots represented the 12,3,6, and 9.Then the medallion infused into Link and suddenly Link gained the ability of Time manipulation to an extent. (Reader Note: I know this sounds very stupid but hang in there there is a reason for this.) Link ran back to find Saria but could not find her in the crowd of the very hyper Kokiri. He ran to her house to find her silently weeping in the corner. Link asked her what was wrong "Link it's just terrible! Rauru is gone!" Saria exclaims putting her head on Links shoulder. "Besides you he was the only one there for me!" Link questioned her how she knew him due to the fact that time was reversed and all the sages have yet to be decided."Link I do not know if you know this but the "Time Medallion" is also the "Light Medallion". The "Time Medallion" allows all the sages to remember everything that had happened. Due to you becoming the Sage of Time nay the Hero of Time all of us Sages remember everything that you did and we are so incredibly indebted to you!" Link questions if she is the only one who knows."No Impa, Ruto, Darunia, Nabooru and I all recall the events!" Link is shocked. Suddenly a flash of light fills the room and Impa appears. She grabs Link by the throat and throws him across the room."You should have known Rauru was being held captive! While we were out fighting the remaining demons from our temples an unknown force broke into the "Chamber of Sages" and kidnapped Rauru. Even though Rauru believed Ganon still had followers he was wrong. There is a new named to be reckoned with and his name is "Majora".

        Alright so for the readers who arent really following The Medallion of Light has been changed to the Medallion of Time due to Rauru's death and Majora is now introduced. I decided to add his presence into Hylian History and not just Terminian History because Majora I believe needs more to his backstory. And again this probably never happened just a fictional theory or possibility that could have happened. I havent really made up my mind yet but I'm leaning on not including Zelda or bringing Zelda up as little as possible because technically she isnt a sage and they only fall for each other when Link is forced to go back in time. Therefore I will be referencing Link and Saria's growing relationship rather than Link and Zelda's relationship
