~Y/N pov~

Grabbing all of the ammo and knives that I had I strapped on my combat boots. Something didn't feel right, nun of this felt right. Sitting up I caught a glimpse of Alucard's coffin, with a sigh I headed over to his coffin and opened it finding a small box inside. Something told me to leave it but my curiosity got to me first, I picked it up and slowly opened it finding a silver band that almost matched the ring Alucard had given me but only this looked like it would fit a male. I pulled the silver chain over my head that held the ring and placed it next to each other, they did match, same design, and same silver but only the ring in the box was slightly scratched in a few places.

I gently removed the ring from the box and added it to my necklace, gently pulling it over my head I placed it into my uniform keeping them safe and close to my heart. 'I'll ask him when I see him again.'

With that, I closed the box and his coffin then jogged out the room grabbing my sword on the way out. I meet up with Pip, Seras, and the crew in one of the may rooms. They all looked stressed and worried, some even scared, wh could blame them. In a few hours, we'll all be fighting in a war that we didn't even ask to be in, who was I fooling? We all kinda asked for it. We knew this line of work would get us killed sooner or later. I sat next to Seras staring up at the blood moon with a sinking feeling, something bad was going to happen tonight. Something that would change all of us.

"I'm surprised," Pip stated leaning against the window while smoking a cigarette. "A vampire that has been protecting a human for a long time, maybe even love her, leaves her all alone to defend herself while he goes on a trip to sea. Not much of a romantic is he?"

"I can take care of myself first off. I have been for years, second I'm not alone. I have all of you to keep me company. Besides this is a war Pip, we don't have a choice in what happens to us at this time. This is a battle for our lives and for Britain. No time in feeling sorry for ourselves." I stood up and loaded my gun while looking out at the horizon. Only a matter of time. But what would happen during this time? Who lives? Who dies? Who in this dark time will tell our story?

 ~Alucard pov.~

I stand here at the head of the ship watching London be burned in the horizon, the fire from the ship calmed till it left nothing more but scorch marks on the metal where it once lay. "That aroma, it's so familiar." I took a deep breath and crossed my arms as a shiver ran down my spine. "The aroma of men being impaled, of women being cut down where they stand, of babies being burned to a crisp, of the old being lined up and shot. Of the king of death, the smell of war. I'm coming for you Major."

I smiled wide with glee but slowly it softened as the thought of my beloved Queen fill my head. A pure rose being swept into a hideous storm, and for what? For my own pleasure? Pleasure what a laugh along with the thought of happiness of her ever being with me for eternity.

"I did this to her. I stole her from the real world and dragged her into this mess. I stole her from heavens gates and brought her to the burning fires of hell and for what? My happiness?" I looked up to the moon while pulling out a piece of her hair from my pocket. I gently kissed the strands and held it out to the wind to take. "I swear by my undead heart I will protect you from this and set you free. I swear it my love, but please remember this one thing, I loved you for thousands of years and I'll love you for a thousand more just to see you smile and to run free."

"Ah?" I looked up and saw a faint purple light in the sky almost like a star. Something didn't feel right about this. That isn't my imagination.
