After training all of you went back to the camp to eat and rest.
"So Ash, who are you planning to use in the gym?" you asked as you were eating dinner.
"I thought about using Butterfree and Pikachu in the gym" answered Ash. "And you?"
"I'm going to use Beedrill and Nidorino" you said. "I don't have anyone against water types, but I believe in them"
Your pokemon cheered happily and gathered around you. They started hugging and nuzzling with you. You laughted and peted each of them. The other's pokemon decided to join and now you had some on you and many around you.
"She's really good with pokemons isn't she" said Brock.
"It looks like it, and it's really cute to watch" smiled Misty.
"It's been like that since she was little" said Ash and smiled.
"How long have you known her?" asked Misty.
"I first met her when mem- mom invited her and her family to visit us, and we played together" said Ash. "We don't know why, but every pokemon seems attached to her and even the agressive pokemon gets attached to her"
"Really?" asked Brock shocked.
Ash nodded "Every pokemon gets protective of her when people they don't know gets uncomfortable near her"
"I wonder why" said Misty.
"But it seems really interessting" said Brock.
You had now gotten up from the pile of pokemons and you had Draco and Pikachu on your shoulders.
"Hey guys, shouldn't we get going now?" you asked.
"Yeah we should" said Ash. "I want to get to the city before dark"
Brock and Misty nodded and sat up to pack. Pikachu jumped from your shoulder to Ash and you two started packing too. When everyone was ready and the pokemon returned, all of you began walking again. After a while you arrived to Cerulean City.
"We made it before dark!" cheered Ash. "Come on let's get to the pokemon center and challenge the gym tomorrow"
All of you expect Misty started walking.
