Third gym battle

The next morning all of you got ready to continue the journey. After walking for a while you arrived to Vermilion City.

"Finally a city to get cleaned!" cheered Misty as all of you walked into the town.

"We should go to the pokecenter before we go to the gym" you said.

"Why, I want to go to the gym now" said Ash.

"Your pokemon are in no condition to have a gym battle now, Ash" said Brock.

All of you went to the pokecenter, but just as you got to the door a boy came running right past you holding a badly hurt Rattata. All of you looked quizzically at each other then walked in. When you went inside you saw a Chansey pushing a strecher with the Rattata on it.

"What happened?" asked Brock to nurse Joy.

"Many hurt pokemon have come 'til now" said Joy sadly. "Most of the hurt pokemon are because of Lt. Surge the gym leader"

You got a little angry at that, but held it for yourself. All of you gave your pokemon to nurse joy and sat down and waited.

"I'm a little worried about the gym now" said Ash. "I don't want my pokemon to get badly hurt"

"I know, but we have to comfront him to tell him that this is wrong" you said.

"Yeah, a gymleader shouldn't be so hard against trainers" said Brock.

After a while your pokemon were done healing and ready to be picked. You got all your pokemon and got ready to go to the gym.

"I don't want to battle that gym" said Pikachu scared. "I don't want to end up like the others"

"But, Pikachu we have to do this" said Ash.

Pikachu shook his head still refusing.

Ash sighted. "All right, you don't have to battle"

"Who are you going to use then?" you asked.

"Then I have to use either Bulbasaur or Charmander, but I feel like their still not ready for a gym battle" said Ash.

"How about I battle first and then you can train afterwards and do the battle tomorrow?" you asked.

"That's a good idea, (Y/N)" said Misty.

"Yeah, maybe I'll do that" said Ash and sighted.

You all then went to the gym and opened the door. Pikachu, who was on Ash's shoulder, looked scared into the dark room. Then a spotlight lit up and showed Lt. Surge and two other people in the midle of the field.

"I'm Lt. Surge leader of Vermilion city gym" introduced Surge. "Am I battleing against you?" asked Surge and pointed toward Brock.

"No, I'm here with my friends" said Brock.

"Me and Ash are here to challenge the gym" you said.

"So two kids are challenging the gym" said the man next to Surge.

"More like a little girl and a baby boy" said Surge.

"What did you call me?!" asked Ash mad.

"Baby because you have a baby pokemon with you" said Surge and laughted.

"Who're you calling a baby pokemon?!" yelled Pikachu.

"Why are you calling Pikachu a baby pokemon?!" yelled Ash.

"Trainers are supposed to evolve their pokemon as fast as possible if they want to win" said Surge and sent out his Raichu, who has the same personality as him.
