In this world, there are two kinds of people.

The cheaters and the ones cheated on.

We have come to know that the ones cheated on are often left heartbroken and we see them moping around for a while, some can be annoying, others know how to hide it.

The cheaters? We see them as nothing but low lifes, the scum of the earth.

But what we fail to do before placing our much unneeded judgment, is to take a look at things from both perspectives.

Here we have variable A and variable B. Variable A would be the cheaters.

They're the ones who do the most damage. Cheating comes in many forms, physically cheating which could range from touching someone else in a way that you would touch your significant other, to kissing and ultimately to sex. It could be mentally cheating, where you think about someone else constantly, where you delete your messages so your significant other doesn't see them. Cheating could even be entertaining another person by calling them. Having late, deep talks when you could be doing it with your boyfriend/girlfriend. Now you see, the people who cheat, they lose a part of themselves. Knowingly or unknowingly, they do. They lose a little bit of their dignity, pride, they're deemed untrustworthy and are often named things such as fuckboys, manwhores, sluts etc. But the deeper part of cheating, is losing the love of your life. They say you never loved someone if you cheat on them. That's true, but sometimes you do love them, you just realise it a little too late. A deleted text too late. A kiss on someone else's lips too late. And you end up comparing every single person to the love of your life, because no matter what you do, you'll never find another love like that.

And then we have variable B.

The people who got cheated on. Constantly battling the thoughts of "Why wasn't I good enough?
"What did I do so wrong?"
"What did they have that I didn't"

The shitty feeling of thinking of them with someone else, their lips casted upon another's. Their arms wrapped around another's waist and their words being said to someone else. Everything they said to you about
"I'll never leave you."
"I love you, forever"
"I'll never break your heart."

Is currently being said to someone else, it could be lies or maybe this time they're telling the truth. You constantly find yourself staring off into space, their face embedded into your mind, and like a map they'll always find a way to your heart.

People don't understand the impact cheating has on someone. The crying late at night until you pass out, clutching your pillow so hard and wanting to scream but you can't so you sit there and scream internally. Spending the day with your friends and seeing them do something your ex used to do, spoiling your entire mood within a split second. The way your mind always finds a way of thinking about them.

And just when you think you're over them.
You see them at a cafe, one you guys would go to on a rainy day. And you'd see him holding her hand the way he used to hold yours. You'd see the smile she has on her face, one you used to carry.
And your whole world crumbles, and your heart beats faster as if you're on every drug there is.
But nothing can stop the feeling of your heart breaking all over again.

And this time, it'll be harder to fix.
