The movie finally ends, and by the end of it, I had the blanket pulled up to where it was just under my eyes. I had screamed a couple of times during the movie, which was usually at the parts with jumpscares.

Blake had tightened his grip on me during those moments, which I mostly had my face buried in his chest during.

"I thought scary movies didn't bother you?" He asks, trying not smile, which ultimately failed when a small grin appeared on his face.

"Shut up."

He smiles, and I bury myself further into the blankets.

"Aw, come here." He puts the empty bowl on the nightstand and pulls me even closer to him. I snuggle back into his chest, listening to the sound of his heart beat.

"We can turn on a comedy to help."

"Like what?"

He grabs the remote from beside me, going over to the comedy section.

"Scary Movie?"

"Seriously? It's another scary movie!"

"No it's not."

"It literally says it in the title!" I state.

"It basically makes fun of all the scary movies."

"What?"

"Here, we'll watch the trailer."

"Fine."

He flicks it on, and I focus on the screen in front of me.

It doesn't look too bad, but still.

"I still don't want to watch it."

"Fine. We'll find something else."

We keep searching through all of the different movies until I see one that I've been meaning to watch for quite some time now.

"What about Thor: Ragnarok?"

"I'm okay with that."

"Do you know if it's any good? I haven't seen it yet."

"I have. I loved it."

I nod as he turns the movie on, and we quickly readjust as the beginning credits start. He winds up grabbing a strand of my hair and playing with it in between his fingers, which makes me smile. I reach up, doing the same with him just to mess with him.

"What are you doing?"

"Playing with your hair. Duh."

"You don't have to say it like that."

"Like what?"

"Like I'm stupid or something."

"I wasn't trying to say that you were stupid!"
