Let's start from the Beginning

~Flashback~

"Hey wait up!" you yell to Jinyoung as class just ended. Jinyoung was one of your closest friends in high school. You went to Kyunggi High School in Gyeongsangnam-do, which is in between Daegu and Busan. You sat with him at lunch, walked from home to school everyday, you were together ever since you could remember.

But then during Sophomore year he started to leave you alone to walk home in the evenings, and came to school late in the mornings. Then during the weekends he was gone the whole day. He never told where he went or why he was gone so long. You always wondered where and why so you asked him. "Hey, where have you been going to lately?" you asked. Silence.

"Ya, are you listening to me?" you then said. "Yeah, but I'm not going to answer." he said with sarcasm, you could hear it in his voice. He was always like this, you got used to it. Just then a smirk appeared on his face. "Oh come on, is it really that important?" you said kind of annoyed. "To you it's not." he answered. "Why would it not be important to me? You know I care about you a lot," you said under your breath. "I'll tell you when I'm ready, okay?" he said in a serious way, so you nodded back with a smile on your face.

He never was ready.

~Magical Time Skip~

It was graduation day, and all your classmates were celebrating for finishing this chapter of their lives. We did the ceremony, presented our speeches, and said our goodbyes to Kyunggi High School. "Hey, come to my house later, my Mom is holding a Graduation party!" you said with a smile on your face. Showers of the answer Yes came your way but you couldn't help but notice the unsteadiness in Jinyoung's eyes. Right then you were called to take graduation pictures.

After the whole ceremony you and all your friends walked home. "Where's Jinyoung?" you asked curious of where he could be. "He left earlier, didn't you see?" one of your exclaimed. "He was probably tired." you thought in your head. The party came around and the whole night Jinyoung never showed up.

You stayed up all night thinking about why didn't come. Did I do something wrong? These types of questions kept of popping into your mind. You woke up in the morning, visited his house, the only ones there were his parents. His 2 sisters were already off to college. You did that for a couple days, he never was back home. And his parents then moved out the next week.

He left before his parents. Why? How?

~2010~
Update:

You have decided to move to Seoul. You now live in a small apartment in the heart of Seoul.
You work in the famous Thanks Nature Cafe in Hongdae. A person comes in and gives a flier with some papers behind it, "You are welcome to come to this place," she says as she points to the flier, "You are really pretty and you look like you can sing, we would love to have you attend." You look at the flier.

SM ENTERTAINMENT IS HOLDING AUDITIONS AND YOUR INVITED! SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT, AND TAKE YOUR CHANCE OF BECOMING AN SM TRAINEE.

"SM ENTERTAINMENT?" you thought to yourself. "Ya, get back to work!" your boss yelled at you.

You went to the audition, and you got in! You became a SM trainee. Of course you couldn't work at a busy cafe anymore, so you started working at a small cafe in the outskirts of Seoul. Over time you were put into a Girl Group, Red Velvet. You then trained for 4 years with your new sisters.
