13-There Is Nothing To Be Sorry For

(The pic above is bc I love MarkJin so yeah. Also this is the last chapter for this book and I plan on having a second book which will be WAY better and more organized. This chapter is going to be long so grab a snack get comfortable and enjoy)

It has been a couple months since you have met Jinyoung. You were kind of happy. Your mind was at ease, and memories you wanted to forget could be forgotten without him around.

But then today your company called you. "Miyoung, sorry to call you on your break day but someone called us and said that they really needed to talk to you." your manager said over the phone.
"Ok give me their number and we will talk." you said ending the call.

Your manager texted you the number and you called it.
(This is a phone call its just im too lazy)

Miyoung: Hello, who is this?

Jinyoung: It's Jinyoung.

Miyoung: Aish. Why did you call?

Jinyoung: I just wanted to meet up with you.

Miyoung: For what? To explain. I know already.

Jinyoung: No it's something new. And I want to say it in person.

Miyoung: Fine. Text me a place and we will meet there tomorrow at 10:30 am.

Jinyoung: Thank You

You then end the call.

You get a text from him. But you wanted to wait. So you threw your phone next to you and let out a sigh.

"What does this boy want now?" You thought. You are sick and tired of being a memory in his mind. All you want him to do is to leave you alone. And that's what you plan on telling him.

It was the next morning. You put on a white t-shirt, jean jacket, and some leggings. You grabbed your phone and checked the address of where you two are supposed to meet. It was the address of your favorite restaurant in Seoul.

So you told your driver to go there. You looked out the window, trying not to think about what you were about to do. But you agreed to see him, so no turning back.

So many memories kept on flashing in your head. Happy ones. But also some sad ones.
You just wanted to forget about him once and for all. Just finally get him out of your life for good. That's what you told your head. But did your heart want that.

You arrived at the restaurant. So you slowly stepped out of the van and stood there. Until you heard someone say, "Hello, Miyoung." It was Jinyoung. As expected.
"Shall we go?" he then said.

A confused face appeared on your face. "Wait, but we are at the meeting place right." you said.
"Yeah. Where we are meeting. But not where we will talk." he said. "Ok. Then let me inform my driver." you said and told your driver.

Walking towards Jinyoung's car, you were a little scared. Where was he taking you? Why do we need to talk somewhere else?

You opened the car door, placed down your bag, and you gave him permission to drive. For the first 5 minutes you didn't say a word to each other. So you grabbed an aux cord, plugged it in his radio, and started to play Wanna One's new album. You looked out the window, with Spring Breeze playing in the background. It really felt like a movie.

But then you fell asleep. It felt like you two were gonna drive forever so you just fell asleep. Jinyoung looked at you sleeping and smiled.

After like an hour, you woke up and you were in a small town. You looked around this place. It seemed familiar. Then you noticed it was your hometown. But why did he take you here?

He then parked the car in front of the high school we attended together. You haven't been here since graduation. This school only held memories you didn't care about anymore. You then got out of the car and asked, "Why are we here?" "You'll see." he said in a cool tone and started walking to the side of the school. So you followed him there.

He sat down on a bench, then invited you to sit next to him. This bench is where you would always do your homework. You came here during free periods and after school too.

~Flashback~

"Jinyoung!" you said running to him. He was sitting in our usual spot. The bench on the north side of school.

~End of Flashback~

You smiled.

"You thinking of something?" Jinyoung asked you.

"Huh. Nothing." you said back embarrassed.

"There is a reason a brought you here. It's because I wanted to talk to you about something." he said.

Well of course. You thought to yourself.

"You know why I left. I wanted to reach my dreams. I had to sacrifice somethings to do what I loved. And one of those things was you." Jinyoung said.

"Obviously" you thought secretly rolling your eyes.

"I'm sorry. I didn't want to let you go. I've been thinking these past few months. I was so hurt when I had to let you go. I don't want to make that mistake again." He said and turned to you.

His eyes were glistening in the sun. The look he gave you made you flustered. You then realized something.

The things you were telling yourself wasn't what your heart wanted.
It was true. You loved him, as more than a friend. But do you still feel that way? You didn't know.

"Please. I don't want to let you go again. I'm sorry." he said.

You didn't know what to do. Listen to your heart or keep your head at peace.

You made your decision.

"Do you really think." you said almost bursting into tears, "You really think that I will come back to you. Do you want the truth? Fine then. I loved you. But you know what happened. I fell out of whatever love we had."
Tears were falling down your face. Your mind knew that your heart didn't want you to say these things. Yourself didn't want to say it either. But somehow the words are still coming out of your mouth.

"I trusted you! And I loved you! But you never did and never will make up for your short comings. Your too late. You should've thought about these things 8 years ago Park Jinyoung! 8 years ago. Then maybe you and I wouldn't have to do this or be here." you said sternly.

"I wouldn't have to explain over and over again that I'm done with you. I'm done being in this ride. I just want to get off already. Just except it. What do you want me to do? Forgive and Forget. I'm sorry but that won't cut it. You left a bullet in my heart. It may have healed on the outside but that spot will never be the same." you exclaimed.

"I don't want to do this to you. You don't have to be sorry for anything. Save yourself from getting hurt over and over again. Just let me go. I give you permission to let me go. JUST LET ME GO." you yelled and threw a necklace towards him.

~Flashback~

"Jinyoung, we are graduating soon." you said to him.
"Here, I want you to have this." he said as he put a necklace saying "Park" on it.
"This is so even after graduating I will be with you" Jinyoung said. You smiled to him.

~End of Flashback~

"Let me go because I'm letting go." you said.

You turn around and hail a cab. A cab pulls up and you get in and tell the driver to drive to the train station. You don't look back because if you looked back you would want to go back. You shouldn't go back.

Don't be sorry Jinyoung. It's my fault. My fault I trusted you. My fault I loved you.
