Here's a chapter. Finally got around to writing it. Go me? Ehh, whatever. It's Jack, just incase ya'll were wondering.

~Dawn's PoV~

Clint stopped coming to visit me. In his place was the scary redhead (I call her Scarlett in secret), Romanov. She won't tell me her name, as if I'd use that against her. I just want to be free and to be with Jes.

One day she came in while I was sitting on the floor drawing invisible pictures on the ground. When I saw her I smiled at her, but she did nothing. Like always.

"Excuse me Miss?" I asked, she turned to me.

"Yes?" Dang those eyes were so intimidating, like they could see through your soul. I gulped.

"Umm, do you know when Mr. Clint will return? I-I do like your company, it's not that, it's just that you don't really talk." She looked at me with a slight tilt in her head.

"I don't talk?" She raised one eyebrow. I started rambling, like I do when I get nervous.

"No, no you do talk, it's just it's more like questions and not small talk like Mr. Clint and Chessie did before I ended up here. Chessie and I would just sit outside and talk with cups of her homemade orange tea. She always had more than me though, she really likes tea I think it's a side effect of what happened during her childhood." I looked back at Scarlett, but she showed no emotion.

"You had a house?" She asked with newfound interest in what I had to say. I nodded. She leaned in. "Tell me more about this house you lived in."

~Jack's PoV~

I walked briskly from the level seven agent corridor to the detention level. You may be wondering who is this kid thirteen year old doing here? Well, I lived in Austria for most of my life, until about five months ago. After she disappeared. Dawn.

I had been so stupid. After yelling at her I found out that the priests had killed them. I had ran back to apologize but when I went to the window. She was gone.

"She must have died, jumped and fell from the window. She was way too weak to fly." The townspeople had said, not feeling any remorse.

I knew she was strong enough, I had been giving her food from my house. Leftovers I didn't eat on purpose, so could give them to her.

I had loved her, but now she's gone all because I was stupid. After my discovery of my mother sister's real murder, I ran away. My father had died from grief so I took the rest of the money and came to America. S.H.I.E.L.D found me and I quickly became one of their best agents.

I was jolted out of my thoughts by bumping into another agent.

"I'm so sorry sir." I quickly. The other agent chuckled.

"Don't worry Jack, just watch where you're going." I nodded and continued on my way.

I'm one of the youngest agents but I'm also one of the best. Most of the others see me as a cute little brother so many were pretty friendly. All minus Agent Romanoff, the person I was going to see. Director Fury was going to check on The Object and there was a job for Agent Romanov, so I was to inform her to meet with Director Fury before he leaves.

I reached holding cell 3 and took a deep breath, then walked in.

"Agent Romanov, Director Fury would like to see you." Her eyes flashed with irritation and but her face remained emotionless.

"Of course Agent Carlen once I finish with this lovely time I'm having with Dawn." I stopped in my tracks and glanced at the small figure in the cell.

Hair whiter than snow rolled over the figure's shoulders and fell around her on the floor. Black wings that seemed to draw the light into them and trap it there. Red wide eyes looked back at me, the color of dawn back home in Austria. It was Dawn.

My heart caught in my throat. Her skin was a healthy white, not the sickly pale I was used to. Her hair was thick and shiny. Wings looked soft and well taken care of. Her lips were a healthy pink and full, not dry and cracked. She looked even more beautiful than ever before.

"Uh, Director Fury needs you now, he is going to check on The Object and has a mission for you." I stumbled over my words as I try to remember what I was even there for.

"Alright then." She turned back to Dawn. "I'm sorry Dawn you can finish telling me about your house next time."

"Okay Miss, that's alright. Good luck on your mission." Dawn said as politely as ever. Even all those years being beaten down lower than pond scum didn't get rid of her politeness.

As she walked passed me Agent Romanov gave me a look that seemed to scream: I won't tell Fury this time but next time you interrupt me I will break every bone in your small body then let you explain to Fury why you are in the hospital.

She then smiled and walked out leaving me alone with the girl who I thought was dead.

~Dawn's PoV~

I was telling Miss Scarlett about the cottage I had lived in with Jes when another agent walked in. I thought nothing of it until I heard his voice. Gentle with the right amount of authority. The voice of the boy who stole my heart. Jack.

His hair was still uncontrollably messy, but it looked as beautiful as I remembered. His eyes were a bright green full of life like they used to be. He was muscular, but not too overpowering and his skin had a natural tan that completed his features perfectly.

After Miss Scarlett left we just stood there for what seemed like forever staring at each other. Jack was the first to speak.

"Dawn, da si živ."(Dawn, you're alive.) He spoke in fluent Slovenian. I nodded dryly and I put on the best look of hatred I could muster against him.

"Ali si še vedno želim, da bi bil mrtev?"(Do you still want me dead?) I answered back. His eyes filled with guilt.

"Motil sem se. Duhovniki ubil svojo mamo in sestro, ne ti." (I was wrong, the priests killed my mother and sister. Not you.) Jack sighed once he saw my expression. "Poglej Motil sem se, prosim, me lahko odpusti?" (I was wrong can you please forgive me?)

"Poklical si me pošast. Ti boli me več kot duhovniki stepanje storil."(You called me a monster. That hurt more than the priests whipping me.) I said thinking of the unhappy memories that flooded my mind. He gulped and ran his hands through his messy black hair.

"Glej, jaz nikoli mišljeno, da vas boli. JAZ-" (Look, I never meant to hurt you. I-) He stopped and put his hand to his ear com. "Yes?"

All was silent as he listened to the voice on the other side.

"Alright, I understand. Yes, sir, I'm coming now." He turned back to me. "Moram iti. Se vidimo kasneje Dawn." (I have to go. See you later, Dawn.) And he turned and left me, just like he did all those months ago.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, I used google translate, so it's probably very wrong. Please don't come after me with pitchforks screaming, 'burn the witch', I already have enough stress in my life. Anyway, just for those who don't know I changed my writing name, don't freak out. It's still me.
