The DocTor and Rose were sitting in a hospital room somewhere inside Torchwood headquarters. So far they had found out that somehow Rose was part Time Lord. She had two hearts but one was very weak and fragile. Which was why she kept the same face. Her regeneration energy wasn't powerful enough to change the face, only heal. From what the specialists concluded, with the help of The Doctor, If Rose regenerates again she will most likely have a different face. As to why she is part Time Lord the answer is unknown.
Rose was currently sitting down with her head in her hands. She was completely and utterly confused. She's always been completely human, not Time Lord.
The Doctor sits next to her with his arm around her reassuringly.
"You know what we need? A good cup of tea." He stands up. "Let's go home." He says smiling his crooked at her.
She nods and stands up, still weak from regeneration. "Let's go then."
Their drive home was silent but not awkwArd. They were both too absorbed in their thoughts to really notice each other.
"I'll get Lily . You just go inside and sit down. Okay?" The Doctor looks at her as they step out of the car.
"Alright." She says smiling.
The Doctor goes over to their neighbors house and retrieves they're daughter. "Well we've had an interesting day. Turns out that your mother is part Time Lord." He says looking at his tiny daughter. "I don't know. I mean we're both part Time Lord it's a possibility." The Doctor says as he walks in.
Rose looks up from putting the kettle on the stove. "Are you talking to Lily again?" She says smiling.
The Doctor nods and looks back to Lily . "I know she just doesn't understand. Quite right. I'll tell her." He looks back to Rose. "She says that I should teach you."
"Teach me how to speak baby?" Rose asks raising an eyebrow.
The Doctor nods and smiles. Rose rolls her eyes playfully and comes into the sitting room with two cups of tea. She sits down in the love seat next to her husband, and she takes Lily. They continue their night in silence until Rose speaks up.
"Since I'm part Time Lord, am I going to have to watch you and Lily grow old?" She asks quietly while leaNing her head on his shoulder.
The Doctor presses his lip in a thin line. "I don't know, Rose. I really don't know."
