Dawnpaw and Heatherpaw were going along at a very slow pace. Once they reached the patch of wild garlic Dawnpaw got to work. Dawnpaw looked up at her sister with wise eyes.
"I can tell you know" Dawnpaw said.
"You can tell what?" Replied Heatherpaw.
"Anyone who isn't paying attention wouldn't be able to tell, but I'm very observant."
Heatherpaw tilted her head in confusion, not expecting what her littermate would say next.
"You are in love with Turtletail. It's obvious, and any cat with four legs and a tail would be able to tell that he loves you too." Dawnpaw told her.
Heatherpaw stared at her sister in awe. How had she figured it out? Was it really that obvious? Heatherpaw let her eyes meet her sister's, she didn't know what to say.
"Ok, you're right, I do love him. He makes my heart melt when I see him. Turtletail means a lot to me. I know he feels horrible for my accident. And I hope he knows it isn't" Heatherpaw said.
"He knows deep down it isn't, but he can't help it. Tell him, I think he'd want to know." Dawnpaw explained.
They locked eyes and Heatherpaw nodded,
"Thank you Dawnpaw, thank you for everything."
Dawnpaw nodded and the pair headed back to camp, garlic in their mouths.

A/N: sorry for the short chapter. I'm going to try and post everyday now, maybe even twice a day. I promise next chapter will be longer.
