Autumn Leaves

It was fall, yet you could care less. You've been living on the side of a street, with only a torn blanket to keep you warm. People kept passing you, no one even looking at you. "There's no one who will help me.." You whispered to yourself,  your (Favorite Color) hoodie sleeves coming up to your face to wipe your tears. After a few hours, you came to terms with the idea you were as dead as a rock, and wanted to pass without any pain, so you decided to lay your blanket over you, your head laying on the concrete. As you closed your eyes, something bright green walked closer. You were too tired to examine it as much as you usually would, and completely closed your eyes, awaiting death.

[ No one's POV ]

Edd was walking home from the grocery store, and had crossed the street now. He was about to throw something away (Probably a empty cola can) Into a outdoor trash bin, before spotting (Y/N). He tilted his head, noticing a few flowers on her face. He came to the conclusion the flowers just landed there on accident, and knelt down beside (Y/N). He noticed (Y/N) was breathing slower and slower, shivering and shaking. He panicked, and quickly picked (Y/N) into his arms ( carrying the groceries in his hoodie pocket ) and dashing through the streets.

[ Time skip to 20 minutes later ]

Your POV 

You begin to wake up. God, your head hurts.. Is this heaven? A bright light shines in your face. You finally open your eyes, to see you're in a bed. A quite comfy one, in fact. It had white blankets and pillows. You looked and realized a green hooded boy was sitting in a chair next to you. He notices you're awake, and begins to introduce himself. "Hello! I'm Edd. I saw you on the road, and I uh.. you were kind of dying so I hope you don't- What am I kidding, of course you wouldn't mind -So I brought you here.. W-Whats your name?" The brunette stuttered, blushing. "I'm.. (Y/N). Nice to meet you Edd. And I guess thank you aswell." You started to understand everything now. "So uh, how did you get out there?" Edd had asked, giving you a look of permission to dismiss the question. "Well, my parents had kicked me out of my own house because my damn sister/brother wanted it. They've always favored him/her over me, so its not new or anything." You said. You were surprised you opened up to him so quickly. Edd'd nervous smile would turn to a frown. "Oh god, I'm sorry about that." He'd fidget with his thumbs in nervousness. "It's fine." You reassured him. "Well, you look kind of hungry. Do you want anything?" He'd say, getting up from a chair he placed next to the bed. "Anything is fine.." You said, obviously trying to be polite. "Okay. Well, I'd also like you to think about wanting to live with us!" He'd say before walking closer to the door. "'us'? There's more people living here?" You asked, tilting your head. "Yeah, oh! Maybe you should meet them!" He smiled quickly. "Okay, I'll get you some food and let them know you're here. Be right back!" The cute brunette rushed out of his mouth, then practically skipped out of the door. You heard a yell, a few yelling replies, and a bunch of footsteps. "oh boy." You mumbled to yourself.
