Pt1: She proposes

I would totally use this idea to propose.

"Hey, babe" Ruby calls out from somewhere in the house, "I found some board games for us to play and keep ourselves entertained with, since you know, it's storming outside."

"Yeah sure, bring them to the dining room area and I'll get us some hot chocolate" you replied while getting up to make yourself and Ruby some hot chocolate.

After preparing the hot chocolate, you walked back into the dining room and set both of the mugs on to the table and cooed at how cute Ruby looked all wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket. How could one human being be so damn adorable?

"Ok. So I found Scrabble, Snakes and Ladders and some puzzles. Which one first?" she asked you and you chose scrabble.

Without looking at the time, both of you hadn't realised that you had been occupied playing scrabble and snakes and ladders for two and a half hours already. You didn't even have to look at the time because you were both so soaked up in enjoying each others company since you hadn't spent time with each other due to busy work schedules.

Eventually, scrabble and snakes and ladders got boring and now you two were going to do some puzzles.
"So let's make this interesting and fun babe. I'll set a timer on my phone and whoever finishes their puzzle last has to cook dinner and wash the dishes after. What do you say sweetheart?" she asks with a smile and you immediately agree, because who are you to deny your girlfriend of anything.

You fail to notice that the puzzle she hands you didn't come out of a puzzle box, it came out of a plain white box with no writing on it. Once she hands you your puzzle and she has hers, she sets the timer on her phone and both of you begin to construct your puzzle.

You're so worried about finishing your puzzle before her that you don't read what it says once you've finished constructing it. "I'M DONE!" you scream out triumphantly and look over at Ruby who isn't even halfway done.

"Congratulations babe, why don't you read what it says on your puzzle? she says while still focusing on hers.

You carefully read the words on your puzzle and once it registers, you gasp.

It said: "MAKE ME THE HAPPIEST PERSON IN THE WORLD. WILL YOU MARRY ME Y/N?"

Ruby gets up from her spot at the table and walks over to where you're seated, she pulls you up from your seat and gets down on one knee and tears begin to well in your eyes.

"From the moment that we met, I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. You are the light in my life, my entire world and all I want to do is marry you and give you everything you've ever wanted and desired.You make me the happiest person in the world. Will you marry me Y/N?"

All you can do is nod your head as tears spill down your cheeks. Ruby gets up from her spot and slides the ring on your finger.

"I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life with anyone else but you baby. I love you" you say and you give her a kiss.

"I love you more baby"

You couldn't wait to spend the rest of your life with the love of your life. ===========
